Level 46 today. I'm happy to have unlocked the sweet Krygian Tyrande portrait, so I'm now playing some Quest Priest to rock this beauty.

Once I finish my weekly quests, I'll be able to reach Level 50. Can't wait to see what crappy legendary I'll be getting for this part of the rewards track this time! Keep you guys posted.

Had one of those wacky games again. I won a game where everything seemed to go wrong at the start: I missed two turns because of disconnection, my Deepwater Evokers drew two Flurry (Rank 1) (what are the odds of that happening??), my Magister Dawngrasp was stolen via  Theotar, the Mad Duke, and my Quest Priest opponent finished his quest on time, around turn 10.

However, I still won because I managed to steal the Purified Shard (which my opponent had apparently been keeping in his hand for the past 4-5 turns) using Theotar, the Mad Duke. This game can be funny sometimes.

Man, the rewards track portraits are so awesome for this expansion. Krygian Tyrande, Sanguine Sylvanas, Songstress Arana, Reveler Kael'thas...looks like I'll be trying to level up this time, after only reaching 57 last expac!

The Chained Garrosh one is amazing too, it already looks like one of the best Warrior skins ever. Tempted to buy the bundle...

With the new expansion on the horizon, I'm proud to reveal that I have reached the impressive heights of...Level 57. Yes, I hardly played traditional Hearthstone during this expansion. I spent most of it in Mercenaries, which is starting to bore me as well. I'll probably try to get to 60, but I don't know if I have the energy for it.

I just didn't give two craps about this expansion. I don't know why people like it so much, but I'm not judging them, to each their own. The next expansion isn't tickling my interest either. I guess my passion for this game is simply trickling away until one day, I no longer feel the urge to play it.

Oh, and for my level 50 legendary reward, I got...Lady Ashvane! Yet another useless legendary from the rewards track. That's what, five in a row now of useless legendaries? Amazing, lol.

Auto-include for all secret decks. Any card that allows you to cheat something for 0-mana is already good, and this comes with solid 2/3 stats for a 2-drop on top of it. Great for tempo on turn 2.

It's an okay disruptor to mess with your opponent's curve. Could see play as a tech card, though it could also be useful in delaying aggro or board-based opponents, buy yourself a turn or two.

Really good card for Hunter. This will see a lot of play for any aggro or board-based Hunter deck.

It's a worse Convincing Infiltrator, but it could see play in some deathrattle decks. The lack of taunt or even rush is what makes this really iffy though, opponents can simply ignore it to delay that deathrattle effect. I think this will see very little play.

Having a ton of trouble with N'zoth task 3. I have never beaten Mi'da before. My current strategy is to hope to get the Assasination treasure with Kazakus or Scabb (dont have Valeera) by the time i get there, but for some reason the demon encounters on the way there keep smoking me...I see a lot of advice for the nature bros but i dont have malfurion, only guff and brukan. Any advice to deal with those encounters? and also for farming mercs in general since i might be unaware of certain tricks.

I beat it with a beast-heavy comp, which includes Chi-Ji, Anacondra, and Brightwing as the main healers, and Trigore, Niuzao, and Cornelius for offense/defense. It took me two tries, because the first time I beat it, I accidentally used the Holy healing spell from the shard in the main boss fight.

The road towards Mi'da is what I find really tough though. I hate facing those different voids along the way, especially the one that damages your Mercs for each non-Holy ability they have and grants all of those abilities 1 cooldown. Just incredibly frustrating to beat.

I personally have no goals for this new rewards track. In fact, I haven't even touched Standard since the expansion launched. I've just been doing a bit of mindless grinding in Mercenaries because I don't have the energy for traditional Hearthstone lol.

I did reach Level 20 yesterday from all those Mercs XPs, and my reward is Glugg the Gulper. My annual tradition of terrible free legendaries continues.

I haven't played a single game yet, but I did open 85 packs (bought with in-game gold). I got the following:

    Raj Naz'jan

    Colaque

    Ini Stormcoil

    Gaia, the Techtonic

    Xhilag of the Abyss

    Hedra the Heretic

None of these legendaries excite me, so I haven't built any decks for now. I really feel like my days of playing Hearthstone are coming to an end, but we'll see...I'm still interested in playing Reno decks, I think that's what I'll focus on for this expansion.

I've accomplished my goal of reaching rank 200. I'm gonna end this rewards track at Level 202. I could have reached as high as 208 based on the remaining quests I have, but I decided to save those so I can zoom up the next rewards track. I currently have 10,555 gold, which I'll spend on Sunken City packs.

How did everyone else do for this rewards track? I hope everyone was satisfied with their performance for this cycle, and most importantly, had fun doing it. See you all on the next progress thread!

Oh yeah, finishing the Monster Hunt with Toki was really tricky...the prevailing advice at the time was to double down on an RNG strategy and let the chips fall where they may, which was really tough as expected. Congrats, dude!

Completing this achievement really just comes down to blind luck. I don't think it's something you can plan for; you just have to cross your fingers and hope the stars align. It really is mind-boggling why Team 5 included this in the achievements, it must be torture for completionists.

I managed to finish this achievement against a Questline Mage who was at 3 health, when their 0-mana Ignite turned into a Raise Dead. It was hilarious and totally unexpected.

I'm at Level 186. I have 9,655 gold in the bank, and I would've had 10k+ if I didn't buy some Mercs packs a couple of days ago. I'm seriously thinking whether to splurge my gold for the new expansion or buy Mercenaries packs. The new expansion doesn't excite me, honestly.

Only a week to go until rotation hits and the rewards track resets, so I think I'll be able to accomplish my personal goal of reaching Level 200. I just need to squeeze in time to actually play, because work is coming down on me like a ton of bricks.

Hope everyone else is happy with their progress!

I'm at Level 174. With the new weekly quests I'll be able to clear 180 within the week, but I'm worried the Battle Pass will reset before I can achieve my goal of reaching 200. Will the Battle Pass reset at the end of March or by the end of rotation? I've been burned before by something resetting before the new expansion even hit, I just can't remember if it's the battle pass or achievements.

I've finished the Alterac Valley level in Mercenaries, and I'm cleaning up the Leeroy Jenkins quests in Onyxia's Lair.

That's a huge pile of stats on the board, and could be annoying to deal with for decks that don't have hard removal. Not sure whether this will be any good though, could slot in a midrange Shaman deck.

Five-star card. It's like a lesser Duskbreaker and Shardshatter Mystic, but with the upside of hitting face and only enemies. That effect is really easy to trigger as well; if you have a weapon equipped on 3 or a discounted hero power, you can play this on turn 4. But it's pretty good on turn 5 as well. Excellent board control tool with solid stats.

Well, that's just a mighty fine card. Stats are good for its cost (8/4 with rush and you can split the damage or take out a big minion if you want), and it automatically draws you the card you just dredged. One of the best colossal minions yet.

This is a must-include in any Shaman deck. It just packs too much value for 3 mana. The class is teeming with Nature and Fire spells every expansion, and the fantastic Freeze package they got from Alterac Valley all but cements its must-include status. Any spell-heavy Shaman deck will find a way to include this.
