You CAN play against AI with Demon Hunter in solo adventures like Galakrond's Awakening. And you don't even need a Fireside Gathering for that. Just play in the normal client. I recommend Finley and Dr. Boom, they're fairly balanced.

The rewards increase is very nice, but there's one thing I greatly dislike.

If you do not play for a month, then you have to start all over at the bottom of the ladder like a complete newbie. The next month's star multiplier will be 1x. If you were at Legend, you have to go through the whole system, all leagues, 50 ranks, 150 wins minimum, 1 star at a time. In the past system, this would only be 8 ranks. And the total number of stars needed for Legend has also increased, you need 150 now instead of 100 if you start at the bottom rank. Gotta pump up those Monthly Active Users numbers, I guess.

This doesn't involve only Basic cards, but Demon Hunter has a surprising finisher that not many people may have noticed yet. Kael'thas Sunstrider + Twin Slice + Second Slice + this Inner Demon is a 10 damage combo for merely 6 mana. It can also be 20 damage if you play second copies of the spells. Chaos Strike and others for more.

So much for Leeroy rotating and limiting Aggro's reach.

You only need to hold them until tomorrow! If you see the Hall of Fame changes when you log in, you're free to open them. You can also get the new Priest cards!

One thing we all know: mana-cheating cards are (almost) always broken.

Here's hoping this year will also introduce Beast and Demon synergies to the class.

That is his Booterang. There are many like it but that one is his. As an overseer he uses that Booterang to sow terror into the hearts of defiant peons. Proper use of the booterang instills obedience and ensures subservience.

The second chalkboard is just the Galakrond's Awakening bosses The Slipstream and The Wanderer photoshopped poorly together with an explosion. And it will probably not be more than a recreation of that, with their decks and Prepare the Cannons! Hero Power. Kael'thas had his left arm drawn over, but the Brawl itself looks a lot more interesting. It's only a tiny problem, no one spends more than 10 seconds at this screen, but I still miss awesome original art like Showdown at Blackrock Mountain.

There IS a slight catch to this. It is easy to miss. Do not expect to open packs with 3-4 legendaries and obtaining complete collections with ~45 packs. The protection applies separately to each rarity. So if you get all 96 commons from a set, that doesn't mean you will only open rares, epics and legendaries now on. The number of 40 dust disappointments will stay the same. It's just until you get those 96 commons, every one of them will be unique. Then you will still get commons, but they will all be duplicates.

In summary, this only really helps in obtaining all rare and common cards. If we calculate with 1 epic/5 packs and 1 legendary/20, then you will still need to open 240 packs to get all 54 epics and 440 for 22 legendaries. (Not counting dust) For example, I opened ~100 Descent of Dragons packs, and I'm missing 4 commons and 8 rares. I opened 2 duplicate epics. With this change, I'd only be richer with 14 cards.

If you don't want to be spoiled, and you know that an announcement will be up within a day, why are you checking a card game site for news, exactly?

Because this site produces a lot of original and interesting content such as meta reports, card design competitions, lore summaries and personal opinion articles. And they can be viewed under the "News" section of the home page.

OK, I am not that angry about the spoilers anymore, because I would have been spoiled by some Youtube thumbnails anyways. I understand this brings a lot of traffic to the site. So yeah, shame on Polygon.

Also, it's probably my mistake that I got too much hyped up on it. You know, "decade-cementing" and all that. Next time, the best thing I can do to avoid spoilers is to just disconnect from the Internet for 2 days before any large announcements.

So I just opened the site to see if there's any news, and the first thing I look at is: *EXPANSION NAME* LEAKED! *SPOILER1* *SPOILER2* *SPOILER3* I had no chance to look away from or not notice the large fel green Illidan image.

I got spoiled. Spoiled large. Tomorrow's largest announcement, the unknown mystery hyped for weeks, will only have a much, much lesser impact on me on the stream. The "WOW!" factor, the "I can't believe they've done this!" will be missing.

This was a very irresponsible decision from the site. I would have expected the article's preview to only state something similar to "SPOILERS! New expansion leaked! Name, major features, cards here!". I am sure I am not the only one who'd rather find out about the new stuff during the reveal stream and not from lines of text on a fansite front page. As in, getting to know the name only at the end of a fun, mood-setting music trailer would have made a much more enjoyable experience.

So please, Flux, DO NOT put unavoidable, major spoilers on the front page. I did not check out the full article, and I do not intend to, but the damage has been done and a large hype moment will be missing for me and many others who'd rather get to know about the new stuff when it was intended to. This is like going to a bookshop to pick up the new Harry Potter 6 book and there is a poster next to the cash register that reads "Dumbledore dies". In the future, please put spoiler warnings, only describe the topic of leaks on the front page, and generally, show spoilers only to someone who decides to and takes action to look at them (=clicks on the article). 

Kolento's phrase has something that is not just a rephrasing of the original sentence. Maybe there's a famous garden somewhere in Azeroth/Outland? Particularly Nagrand? I played WoW a long time ago but maybe it's that Evergrowth thingy in Draenor? (=old Outland for those who do not know) A Gronn vs. Botani battle maybe?
