It's not too fast neighter it is too slow. It certainly is capable of making the recall arcetype more consistant and is really nice when draw as a multiple.
now this looks like really scarry unit for the likes of bladedance decks yet it doesn't have evasion and a deck using it will need something like Ghost to make it work.
For 4 mana it costs as much as a unit without protection these days may cost so... I am not 100% sure we will see this unit despite it being very powerful
It's a powerful 2 drop for sure and I am currently not too sure how often you can recall this unit realistically and how much of a risk it will be to commit to this unit.
It could be that this unit is a 2 mana 3/2 random keyword most of the this which isn't too amazing or it could be the x/2 must remove unit that you never get to remove because it's always covered by another recall.
Only practice will show what of both scenarios will happen
Nopeify! was for long time the better Deny this will proably be the better Will of Ionia in most of the cases because it's not limited to cost but power and you can reduce this statby the likes of frostbite effects
Swim gave this unit a lot of hype at first and it kinda looks like a anthem on a 4 mana 4/4 creature at first but that's not the right way to evaluate this unit.
It's a unit that buffs up other units that you play on turn 5+ that are smaller than him if he doesn't die. That's way weaker than an anthem on a 4/4 and I don't see this actually being that good
Can we finally stop this "random keyword" mechanic and turn it into a manifest at least?
like on one hand it certainly "balances" the card by making it unpredictable but if we have actually viable cards working that way (and tornado warrior looks viable ) it's a pain to deal with. You put a tornado warrior down, giving it regeneration then the opponent puts down torando warrior giving it elusive... well sucks to be you
You certainly have a point with the merfolk issue.
To a degree good cards find their ways into every successful deck and the identity of decks rarely consist of more than 25% theme cards.
But why would'nt you pick up Flash Freeze and Three Sisters in freljord why wouldn't you pick up MinimorphPokey Stick and the major bundle in BC it's afterall what makes decks going (their ability to stop other decks)
So sure you can be a purist about your decks but I doubt it will be rewarded with much success
There is a difference between putting together a bunch of cards with the same theme, calling that pile a deck and fine tune that pile (tech/change quantities) to be fitting for the most common matchups.
I already noticed that you rarely take the time to finetune your lists and I don't mind that but making fun of me because I prefer to finetune my decks is just rude and not appropriate.
The thing that makes me sceptical if nifty is the flawless LoR that he pretends to be is that his decks hardly every play 2/1 ofs.
In aggro decks where synergy matters a lot less than raw card quality it often makes sense to build decks in that way but in control / combo decks that is most of the times not the right thing to do.
Anyway: I absolutely agree with your idea: we can't know how good eachother's deck is as long as we don't play against eachother.
And I totaly would be into this if I currently had a deck ready for pvp.
So sure gimme a week to find my cool niche in the meta and I will challenge whoever is into duels :)
Serious question: why did you combine frozen thralls and Jayce and why even play Jayce in a list where the only payoff for Jayce is the Acceleration Gate and where only 1 spell is actually good at 6 mana?
To me the deck neigter achieves fast levelups of Jayce nor Profits much of his level 2 and proably would work better with a different support package like Heimerdinger BC
A tutor in my book are cards that draw a specific card that you eighter run as the only card of it's kind or cards that say draw x.
An example for the latter is The Leviathan which tutors Swain. And example for the first would be Babbling Bjerg when you have only 1 5+ power unit.
The example that you brought up doesn't really fit well here because a Ferros Financier - while being quite consistant is not a card that will draw a specific card for sure and you can't really manipulate it's odds of drawing a specific card unless you go mono P&Z.
The consistant manifest cards are for sure quite overtuned and the way I would nerf them is changing their low cost and buffing the stats so that a Ferros Financier can exist as a 3 mana 3/3 or 4 mana 4/4 leaving less options to play him along with all the other manifest units.
Invoke wasn't much of a problem because it's units came quite late to the Party and you could just rush them before their value train did something for them but 2 mana 2/2or2/1? That's very fast and makes sure the cards will be relevant in any meta which I don't think is good design.
You want infinite value? Then accept having less tempo and the fact that aggro/overwhelm decks will abuse your slow gameplan
Nifty has a tendency to be a know-it-all forum member when it comes to LoR and I don't mind to much unless he agressively attacks everyone's oppinion.
There is nothing wrong with being wrong about something and when it comes to LoR I am proably out of touch with what's toptier since call of the mointain. I can however say that I :
A: don't netdeck ever
B: know how to build good decks that do what they are trying to do
And in this case we don't see much support the slay mechanic, making the deck look quite clunky. Yet I won't play it and test it lives up to it's idea because it's not my style and I won't write it off therefore.
I might make an attempt to build a really good deck in this meta or the meta after the nerfs to BC I don't know yet (and depens a lot on the deckbuilding options for MTG).
The thing that gets me out of competive LoR these days is that the format is ever rising leaving more and more options to combine each card, increasing the count of outlier cards that create decks around them and make it harder to compete against those decks.
It's not like I can't come up with an really good deck right now, it's that I would need too much time for it in order to be motivated to take the effort.
It looks solid to me.
It's not too fast neighter it is too slow. It certainly is capable of making the recall arcetype more consistant and is really nice when draw as a multiple.
Overall easy 4/5 stars
Oh hi quest roque is it you again?
Why I have the feeling that the unit that gets summoned will end up being a blade token?
now this looks like really scarry unit for the likes of bladedance decks yet it doesn't have evasion and a deck using it will need something like Ghost to make it work.

It's Mystic Shot added to a Recall for 1 extra mana.
I don't see this making sense outside of the recall archetype but inside it it sounds like a lot of value

It's good if you need a recall but need some extra value attached to it.
It will see play in the recall archetype for sure
The typical 2 mana give something relevant for archtype x etb unit.
We know those units are stables but it's really getting old at this points
isn't that just a worse Shellshocker? It's proably a solid card still but it doesn't amaze me
Now we only have to buff Iceborn Legacy to viability again and we don't have an D-tier unit
Swim gave this unit a lot of hype at first and it kinda looks like a anthem on a 4 mana 4/4 creature at first but that's not the right way to evaluate this unit.

People also speculated that Yuumi will be part of the next expansion as a BANDLE TARGON champion.
If we combine these *cought fun regions to feature League's most hated champion (after Teemo) then one really can say "Dread intensifies. "
I mean it's pretty obvious that he is playing that social game with us and yeah we kinda should know better and ignore him.
However there is so little going on on this forum that taking his invitations to argue aren't too bad.
We really should start opening own debates, being constructive on those and have a good time right?
I am not tooo motivated to take the moderator job right now but if nobody else is into it I could take it.
Anyways thank you for the tipp we gonna find a solution on that end :)
