Finally deck rearranging!! This is the best news out of all of this! The changes to the mobile collection manager and filter panel are also long overdue and very welcomed! Glad to see some UI work being done to the game!
I honestly haven't touched BG's very much since the dragons were added, Lady Vashj looks interesting.
i must say i was intriuged by how many millhouse submitions there were and how none of them went into the finals
Millhouse submissions were in a weird spot for me - if they were just a good card, I didn't think they represented Millhouse that well, and if they were a card that could backfire on you... then it could backfire on you, and that isn't fun.
Some 'restrictions' put on them also either made the card way too bad or way too good, from what I remember. I think there was one which was just a 2 mana 4/4 so long as you didn't play any spells without killing it off first, which is just a really good card for something like a Big Spell Mage.
Another thing that kind of killed the Millhouse cards for me was how many of them used the same art. I know that's not entirely at fault of the creators, art was a challenge with this one. But seeing so much of the exact same art just made all of those ones blend together in my mind.

Highlander Hunter has been competitive in every meta since SoU. I think it's a safe craft at this point. I might just be biased since it has been my go-to deck since then.
congrats to all of the finalists im bummed that my card wasnt one of them but i do belive the battlecry was kinda lopsided anyways
i had a few cards that i liked that are here mainly the medivh because that was the only medivh card and it was one of the few prime cards and even though the base card reminded me of Kanrethad Ebonlocke the prime form was very uniuqe to set itself apart from the others
Show Spoiler
Edit: here was my card in case you were wondering
For me personally, the bad rating I gave all came down to the typos. I grade typos very heavily, probably more so than other people. I dock a star for each typo I find. Which in this case ended up with the card receiving 1 star from me. Here's the typos I removed a star for for your reference.
No space in between the colon and "restore".
"restore" should be capitalized.
"health" should be capitalized.
"dragons" should be capitalized.
Missing period at the end of the sentence on hero card.
"health" in hero power should be capitalized.
Missing period at the end of the sentence on the hero power.
Those typos brought you down to a 1 star because I don't give anything under a 1 star. Without the typos, I probably would have given this 4 stars. Maybe 3 because I feel the hero power is a little bland.
Good luck to all the finalists! Really disappointed I didn't make it (again lmao, maybe this stuff isn't for me), but I really like all the cards that made it! My favourite is probably Medivh Prime.
On the subject of people voting way too harshly... How in the hell are Incendiary Chicken and Grand Apothecary Putress worthy of 13 1 star ratings?!?! I'm curious to know how any of the cards in the final were worthy of a 1 star rating? Are people not voting on a 5 star basis in the finals, but marking them by "favorite to least favorite"? If so, we should change the voting of the finalist cards to rating from 1-8 instead of a 5 star system.
Don't know about anyone else, but when it comes to the finals I basically always give out 5-stars or 1-star. 5-stars for the card I want to win, and 1-star for everyone else. At that point we're looking for a sole winner, so I give the card I want to win the maximum chance of victory. This is especially true if I'm one of the finalists: frankly, how else should I vote? I would be shooting myself in the foot and jeopardizing my chances to win by giving someone else more than 1-star. I don't do this during the regular voting period, but I absolutely do so if I'm in the finals.
On a side note, we (the moderators) have been discussing the possibility of removing the ability to vote for finalists if you yourself are a finalist. That would remove the situation I just described, wherein the meta way to "play the game" is to vote 5-stars for yourself and 1-star to everyone else.
I think instead of the ability to not vote for your card, you should look at a different voting format. If most people are voting 5 stars for the one they want to win, and 1 star for the cards they don't, then a 5 star rating system is kind of the wrong tool based on how people are voting.
Maybe instead, vote for your top 3 favorite, and give an average to determine the top 3 winners?
I thought about voting all other cards 1 star when my cards make the finals, but I have not been doing that because it doesn't rest easy on my conscience. They aren't 1 star cards... I'm not going to go back and do the math, but I know a couple of my cards made the top 3 and were really close to winning. Had I just voted all other cards 1 star, I may have won one of these past weeks.
If you're going to make any changes to the voting in the finals, I suggest looking at the 5 star system first because I don't think that is the best system for how people are actually voting in the final round.

I thought they only generated Army of the Dead and Doom Pact. I always dream of the mystical Frostmourne, but it's always just out of my reach. The Lich King must have been saving all of mine to give to you.

The "Egg" in the name is because of the Serpent Eggs and to a lesser extent Teron Gorefiend. Ancharrr is there to draw Risky Skipper, as she is part of the most powerful package that Warrior has atm. Risky Skipper + Armorsmith can combine to clear your opponents board, and gain a really good amount of armor. Not to mention all the other "Enrage" effects that she can help trigger.
Honestly the "Egg" package is overrated, many people (myself included) have dropped the Eggs and Teron. This is the list that I've been playing on ladder, and it's much more consistent than Egg Warrior, and has a better winrate vs Priest.
I just got killed by my own Solarian Prime. It cast Conjurer's Calling on an enemy minion, which gave my opponent enough attack to kill me. I thought it wasn't supposed to harm you, just the opponent? Why would I ever want to call Conjurer's Calling on an enemy minion save for the most edgiest of edge cases?
Sadly it can still harm you. It's text says "targets enemies if possible", so because there was an enemy minion, Conjurer's Calling targeted the enemy minion. It's one of the few Mage spells you'd want to target a friendly instead. It's definitely one of the worst spells to roll, unless you opponents board is clear. I got fucked by my opponent's Solarian Prime casting Conjurer's Calling on itself before.
In all seriousness, I actually think Tavern Brawl (or PVE) is the perfect place for Puzzle Box of Yogg-Saron.
Everytime I see it played I can't believe it was printed for standard given how much of an often game deciding RNG cluster bomb it is.
Puzzle Box of Yogg-Saron can create extremely fun games.
I never forget a wild game where my opponents Box first spell draw his whole deck via Myra's Unstable Element and the next spell was Cataclysm followed by 3 card draw spells mixed in killing him.
Was that against me? Because that's always what basically happens to me every time I play that card.

All warriors are going to be playing this list soon. All other packages are currently inferior to this list. One common denominator exists between all Warrior lists at the moment, Risky Skipper + Armorsmith + Bomb Wrangler with Corsair Cache + Ancharrr to make the combo ridiculously consistent. This list feeds off those core strengths, and creates a list that plays very smoothly that can hash out a lot of damage, keeping all the other top meta decks at bay.
Unless nerfs are announced soon to Demon Hunter, Warrior and Rogue, get used to seeing this deck a lot.
I want to ask for feedback one more time before submitting my card. I am having second thoughts about whether or not three is the right number of Beasts to summon. When compared to other "big beast" stuff like Beastmaster Leoroxx or Kathrena Winterwisp, three looks fair. But when compared to cards like N'Zoth, the Corruptor or Zul'jin three looks like too little. Because Mukla is a Beast himself, I don't think you would want to play him in big/recruit Beast Hunter. I would rather he see play in regular Beast Hunter as a comeback card after you have run out of steam. What do you guys think?
I have to agree with you that 3 feels underwhelming, and I have always wanted a 10 mana finisher like this in beast hunter. I think the card has the same issues that made Abominable Bowman never find a good home. There are two sides to this;
#1: Beast Hunter typically has a lot of small tokens, so in order to take advantage of the summoning, you have to avoid cards with tokens. This naturally pushes you into a "Big Beast" format. You can counteract this by increasing the amount of Beasts summoned to increase the number of rolls and chances of summoning large beasts vs small beasts. However, increasing the number of Beasts summoned creates another problem...
#2: Tundra Rhino exists. Having a minion summon 7 Beasts that died, all it takes is 1 Tundra Rhino to turn that into a ridiculous amount of face damage for 10 mana.
Tundra Rhino really causes most of the issues, which is why I've always assumed there has never been a "Bloodreaver Gul'dan" for Beasts.
The last version of your card I saw says "summon 3 beasts and add 4 bananas to your hand". Maybe make it 4 beasts and 4 bananas?
Hey everybody! This is my first entry into the card design competition, and I'm pretty excited. What do you think?
Show Spoiler
I think I like the first one better, and I'm not sure about the wording on the second one. Murloc should be capitalized and I forgot the period, but I can fix that in my next iteration. Feedback is appreciated.
Welcome! Glad to hear you're excited and we are excited to have you here!
I have to agree that I like the first one more. I'd change the wording a bit, and you need some periods and caps.
I'd suggest to put "3" instead of "three" in this case
Drop the "friendly" as it is redundant. There would not be enemy Murlocs in your deck.
You already caught the capitalization for Murloc and the missing period
Make sure you also have a period at the end of the deathrattle effect.
Overall great first idea for your first card competition!
People asked questions and I wanted to reply but I never managed to reply to the people I wanted. For example, if I click reply under Marega's post (1st one) my comment will appear (at least on my screen) as a reply to Bersak's post (last comment when I replied).
I tried to deleted and repost many times until I just gave up.
I use Firefox on windows 10.
Hi, Gwavana,
"Reply" is a bit misleading as to what it does, or rather what it does in Forums. Forums have a different structure than Comments (articles, decks etc.). When you reply in a Forum Thread, that post will always be last (=newest) no matter what and there are no nested conversations, that wouldnt work and it wouldnt make sense for that anyway.
If you want to reply to a specific comment use Quote button, that way the comment will be added to your post and the reader and everyone else will know which post are you replying to ;-)
As Xarkkal said, for Forums, it is better to use Quote instead of Reply, so everyone who reads your post knows what is going on.
I will add a little to this too. If a message you're quoting is getting too long, you can use the "Spoiler" button to hide some of the text. I hid your original text in this comment as I'm Quoting Sinti, who Quoted you. Just helps keep things a little cleaner.

Must be a Beast from Whispers of the Old Gods

Great art find!

The game my opponents play they always draw their deck in the exact right order. Playing the perfect god hand on curve.
The game I play, I draw the end of my deck first.
How do I get to play this game that my opponents get to play?
Welcome! Glad to hear you're excited and we are excited to have you here!

Ugh, no... why? Why!?!?!?!
At least it's not Valeera's Bag of Burgled Spells or Idols of Azeroth... But still, this one is probably in my top 5 least favorite brawls.
