Oh my, why aren't there any Freeze Mage decks? Are you telling me adding 3 garbage cards to support a non-existing archetype instead of actually supporting already existing stuff that currently doesn't have enough payoff was a complete waste of a set?
Paladin is still the best class by a wide margin. MAybe next year they'll figure out which cards are actually the problem
open before because there's a higher chance you get cards that might get nerfed in the near future (even if nothing in this set looks nerf-worthy at all)
If you're still missing rares or commons from before then you should open afterwards obviously
Only 3/5 have to be the same and it's not as annoying because despite being entirely RNG all you really have to do is keep playing the spells until it happens, which you're gonna do anyways because of the other Adventurer achievement.
Tormenter requires your opponent to play into your card multiple times (and not just concede if you …
It's another one of these, you know the drill.
Demon Hunter
[card]Taintheart Tormenter[/card]: Yet another brick for a deck completely lacking any sort of mortar. While a permanent asymmetrical Loatheb effect is certainly powerful and can completely shut down a variety of spell-based decks (and also make Spell Mage play without [card]Incanter's Flow[/card]), Getting the guy out on …
Now why would I pay money to have Malfurion wear MORE clothes?
Just for your information: This miniset contain 16 commons, 14 rares, 1 Epic and 4 Legendaries.
This means that crafting the entire set costs 11280 dust total.
It would take 8 Barrens packs to (most likely) unlock all the commons as well as 8 of the rares (not counting potential epics or legendaries or if you don't own …
Yea I thought you would be the one to get the most out of this.
3600 Exp unless I miscounted. The Tormenter one seems like the most annoying because you cry everytime your opponent doesn't use a spell to kill it
I'm unironically considering not actually buying the miniset and instead using my gold on card backs instead. They knew what they were doing.
just rework it into something that isn't Counterspell+ but still involves random spells in some way.
Hell, you could probably keep the counter and just make it so it adds a 0-cost copy of a random spell of the same cost to the player's hand so it at least stops it from randomly deciding games on turn 2.
Quote From economicaooc Interesting, but using up a card just to make a 1-for-1 trade is a loss of card advantage. Combos with this will only ever be a board clear, but maybe that's enough.
The idea would be to run it in a deck with lots of smaller beasts (or just beasts with rush …
You got legitimate draw and another boardclear and the class already has access to a two turn 26-damage burst combo, so I don't think they're out of the picture.
not at all. You were behind, sure, but only LIbram Paladin has the 1/3 and that deck is substantially slower so coming back from the Hand isn't that difficult.
I'm not saying it didn't deserve to get nerfed, I'm just saying they're only scratching the surface of what allows Paladin to be this op.
Quote From MurlocAggroB The Overload: (1) is written after the recast this. If it Overloaded for each repeat, it would say "Deal 3 damage to an enemy minion and Overload: (1). If it dies, recast this."
Keep in kind that "recast this" does not actually count as casting a spell. It's shorthand for "repeat this effect".
…
Alien milf tells all.
Well apparently it really is just a vanilla weapon, so that's a bit disappointing. Control Warrior has better weapons both for damage and utility so they'll probably just overwrite the spike as soon as they can.
Also interferes with Bulwark which might honestly kill the card for Control.
well that's massively disappoiniting.
That's pretty amazing and I'm not sure DH really needed that much help. At least it gives the more ways to be proactive in the early game and not just fold against swarm decks.
Seems a bit weak, but maybe it's supposed to be payoff for a Sunscale Raptor deck to run alongside other frenzy activators like Pen Flinger or Augment guy.
The problem remains that Hunter still doesn't have a ton of useful draw (less than Priest now, imagine that) so comboing this will always be clunky.
Can you run enough …
