And sint also relaly low data to poitn whe reit says it may be innacurate?
So ti could still eb high mulgian winrate  but aslo still eb far from 93%

    I'm sorry, what?

Saying Nozdormu on curve isn't great because the opponent has a 10 mana turn before you do isn't all that black and white. Generally, the opponent mulligans for their early game, which means they're not going to keep expensive cards. More often than not they have trouble even using all those mana crystals on turn 10, since they're not prepared for it. And why would they be, considering they'd have 5 mana in any other situation.

Im talkign abotu allura haivng 93% mulgian winrate; Not nozdormu.

And  as far im aware; the data is low for the deck and it even says it may be innacurate due low sample size.  So im saying alleura could sitll have have a really higher mulgian winrate BUT STILL BE LOWER THEN 93%

I wasnt talkign About Nozdormu AT ALL.

I only mentioned warlock because in a previous AMA Iksar discussed attempts to change it back when HS was still being designed. I don't think it needs a rework at all.

Shaman's certainly has a lot of subtleties to it that could be tweaked without altering the core idea, so I wouldn't be surprised to see a small but meaningful change there.

Warrior's is an interesting one, because it is very deck dependent, in regards to both yours and your opponent's deck. That's true of all hero powers to some degree, but gaining armour is so 1-dimensional that it doesn't give you much scope to leverage it when one of the two players doesn't care about your life total. I'm not immediately against setting it to 1 mana and leaving it at 2 armour, but it would need a lot of playtesting (without the restriction of even decks) and I suspect it would push it too far. You could try 1 mana 1 armour but I think control warrior would prefer the original at that point.

Woudl require play etsting but i dont think it woudl eb strong at al. EVry otehr hero power (even priest) can in some way efefct the board/tempo. warriors is just stall and 1mana fpr 2armor even as a hp isnt that great . But 1mana gian 1armor i think would be pointless, its so ltitle armor it would never be worth spending mana on ti at al And wariroh p si nto like shaman or otehr ny otehr, its just not a great Hp most of the time due having no impact on board/Tempo at al ever Its even warr but thats never been a thign and wil neve rbe worth giivng up half your cards for ever.

ANd shaman they could maeke ti summon a 0/2 totem with no efect once got all 4basic or just allow you to kepe using it. Heeal totem shoudl heal face again and scould show which ones youre gonna summon.

I am curious what the rankings are for the 10 classes for wild players and why for which classes you like to play the most and are your favorite.  By rankings I mean ranking the classes from number 1 to 10.  Obviously this can change over time but it is still interesting to see what it is.

    1. Rogue

    2. Demon hunter(atleats before warlgaives nerf >.>)

    3. Paladin

    4.  Warlock

    5. Warrior

    6. Warrio

    7. Shaman

    8.  Druid

    9. Hunter

    10. Priest (it just really doesnt have anything interesting for me that isnt utterly terrible)

Crafted it yesterday but didn't have much time to play with it. It seems pretty good, and I finally get to play with some new old gods. Heard from high legend players that it's quite a scary concept though.

Apparently High Abbess Alura has a 93% mulligan winrate on coin. To put that in perspective: cards like Prince Keleseth and Barnes hovered around 70% mulligan winrate.

Scary stuff, but we'll see how it pans out.

And sint also relaly low data to poitn whe reit says it may be innacurate?
So ti could still eb high mulgian winrate  but aslo still eb far from 93%

The Shaman hero power is uniquely RNG-based (summons in random order) and rather unintuitive (always a different totem; stops working after all 4) compared to the other hero powers. Ever seriously discussed changing parts of it?

The fact that it's different because of those things isn't necessarily a negative to us, but we have discussed changing aspects of it. When we looked at the classic set and ways to change it, we also looked at the base hero powers and what classes were supposed to be good/weak at (Source)

We'll have some more details on that in a big future update but nothing to divulge just yet (Source)

Now that is very interesting, and it sounds like at least one base hero power will be changed. I'd be looking at druid mostly, because the class has never really been good at attacking with its hero (sorry Gonk, the Raptor) and it has always been a poor-man's rogue or mage hero power.

Maybe they also found an alternative to warlock's, as discussed in a previous AMA, though I expect changing that one would cause more complaints.

IF theyre gonan chaneg/edit NAY HP ti shoudl be shamabans (liek not makignt he hp sueless if got all 4 totems woud be a nice start)

Warlock that shoudlnt be changed at all. ANd for otehrs id say warriors basic could be hoenstly be 1mana and wouldn be broken

(and would fit a bit mroe:help more i guess with their orignal design fir warrior as a more aggresive/tempo class with weapons and using armor to soften the blows they recieve from using their weapons).

Warlock i dont see changign and it really realy shouldnt.

Boooo! Why not just change Wretched Tiller? This puts the handcuffs on Priest, particularly with creative options like popping your own minion with Apotheosis and Hysteria. The card is still good, but it just dampens the fun factor.

Easy, cause hysteria is the problem that limtis deisng space. It basicly made so couldnt ever print a minion with wheevr this atatcks in priest, warlock ro neutral ever again.

If isnt tilelr would be the next minion and the next or the next. Hysteria the problem card.

Would be great if blizzard offers a daily reroll option (like quests) for this offers until you get the one you want.   I would buy the wild bundle, but got the 2 legendary 20$  DMF pack offer.

Or better yet, just offer all of them for evryone. and fi they want peopel to only get 1they can make so if buy one cant buy the otehrs anymore. But still should just give them all as options to evryone.

Looking at Rocket League's battle pass as an example, I agree that HS' implementation of cosmetics has been lacking. As you say, the design space just isn't there. In Rocket League, each car has 8 slots for cosmetic items, while in Hearthstone we have only three - hero, coin, cardback. Not only that, but compared to the compelling variety of aesthetics you can explore by combining items in Rocket League, the pinnacle (and only possibility, really) of aesthetic synergy in Hearthstone is having a cardback similar to your hero. At the beginning, they played off this - hero skins came with cardbacks - but recently they haven't even done that.

It would be good for them to open more design space, as you say, with custom boards, emotes, hero borders, et cetera and to do so with a mind to aesthetic synergies - what would look good with the existing cosmetics? Have in-jokes, as well, like Rocket League's cosmetic obsession with watermelons and doughnuts. The Battlegrounds' end of match frames would be an easy place to begin with that. Ideologically (technically I haven't the slightest), I don't believe it's too late.

As a side note, implementing viewable player profiles would open plenty of new design space for cosmetics as well.

They could have more cosemtics. CARD SKINS (like in book of heroes) or Hp skis,(again liek book of heroes).

iimagine iceball for KT or  summoing blood knight recruits as laidrin kinda thing.

Dean is saying wild is meant to be broken in order for players to be able to play their old decks, not act as a standard mode with more cards where they'd prioritize balance.

Yeah but as other users have pointed out, that argument makes no sense.

I can't enjoy even paladin in wild because I'll get shafted non-stop by the three main culprits: darkglare, secret and razakus.

Additionally, he himself has said that their data showed that big priest was played by the same players, even after they nerfed Barnes. Which further advocates nerfing the top dogs because the people who actually enjoy playing secret mage (if those exist) would then still play it after it's nerfed.

Even paladin is also weka becuase call to arms sint 4mana anymore. Even paladin was absicly call toa rms

The card at 4man awas the onyl reaosn even palladin was at all good ever

  • Quote From nandop2000

Damn, this is not the answer I wanted to hear for wild. They could easily nerf the outright broken decks that have a way to high winrate. (Secret mage, raza priest and darkglare warlock). I don't see a problem with those nerfs.

IF you current 'broken ' cdekcs, the enxt broken are above other,s and the next adn the next

  • Quote From RavenSunHS

I don't see any Face Hunter or Secret Paladin or Keleseth Rogue or whatever old deck in current Wild meta.

Hell I don't even see Even Shaman or Jade Druid anymore.

Wild is not a nostalgia place, except for very few (lucky) decks. It cannot be ofc, so why trying to tell us this BS?

We don't even ask for a dynamic meta btw. We just ask for a NON-OPPRESSIVE one with few nearly flawless t1 decks that live in a powerlevel of their own.

I'm also sad they consider new player experience secondary in development because of their population: maybe this is exactly the CAUSE why new players are a minority in the game?!?

Well for many odld ecks, they where played Until the cards got chanegd/nerfed (usally because of standard

  • If WIld is suspsoed to be for old decks/cards, then WHY are so so many still nerfed/chnages cause of standard even when are wild only?

IF thats their goal, then should unnerfed pretty much evrything  thats wild only and revetr chanegs like brugle nto workign with tri class anymore or sonya not workign with quest rogue crystal core aura/buff.

Cause currently its like youc an play old decks/cards, but not that card/deck, that one youc ant either, those cant either,  and that one and that and that one.

Super strong early removal tool for Odd Warri. Will see play for sure.

Not sure, odd warrior doesnt need this weapon agisnt aggro at all and doesnt help its worst matchups at all.

For aggro the new 1drop with armor, rover, sword and board etc are just better.

  • Quote From Caro

that's some solid tempo right there. Makes HP on turn 2 seem like a very good play now

HP on 2 is still not a good play espcially as warrior and espcially not in a tempo edck, youd rather run another 3drop and actulyl play something on 2

  • Quote From DarkFrostX

I wonder if this will find a spot in Odd Warrior in wild.

Its not removal, its not taunt, its nto rusha dn deos give armor So NO

  • Quote From Brandon

Premium 3 drop stats, Shuffles Soul Fragments for a potential 4 healing AND potentially draws a card. Luckysoul Hoarder seems like a really good card that might be really solid in a lot of Warlock/DH decks. It's great on turn 3, and always fine when corrupted. The only deck i'm not sure about it being in is Tickatus Warlock, because they probably don't want the corrupted version of it, because it just adds more cards that you get from [Hearthstone Card (Y'shaarj the Fefiler[/card. meaning you need even less cards in your hand than normal before playing Y'shaarj. But that might change because of Envoy Rustwix, so who knows.

    Standard:

Warlock: Tickatus Warlock will probably experiment with it, and last time i checked Zoolock prefers Demon tribe minions.

DH: This will see play in Soul-DH, and MAYBE in aggro DH because of it's premium statline and good effects.

    Wild:

Warlock: I'm not sure if this will be used, warlock has plenty of draw but who knows. Effects like these are pretty good so i wouldn't be surprised if it shows up in Cubelock or something.

DH: ODD-DH will probably experiment with it at the very least. My guess is that it might become it's new home in wild.

ODD DH will NOT run this, they dotn use the soul fragment package at all.

and the deck si like all 1drops otuside, acrobactics, stilstepper and Baku.

This doesnt fit at all in the deck.

And to to corurpt it so its actully a good card to ru, you Only have Baku.

Similar to Silithid Swarmer, but in a class like DH it's going to be much more reliable to activate and attack on your turn.

    still weak though

  • Quote From Brandon

Super strong card, and i think a must-include in most N'Zoth, God of the Deep decks, because a lot of those decks are missing a good beast. Moonfang is really sticky and it's amazing that this effect is also useable on your own turn. Because it costs 5 mana, this can actually be tutorred by Guardian Animals as well. Oh and it's amazing alongside Scavenger's Ingenuity. Moonfang also feels kinda like a custom hearthstone card, which is fun.

Standard: I think this will see play in N'Zoth, God of the Deep decks. Lots of people and i like playing those decks, so definatly will be fun to use. Face Hunter might also use Moonfang because of it being a hard to remove beast.

Wild: ODD-costed so i won't be surprised if it actually manages to slip into some ODD-decks, and lot's of other decks. However i think Moonfang will be "complete trash" because it's weak to Hemet Nesingwary, like seriously how could a card "EVER" be good when he's around (lol).

It wont be in any dod decks, odd dh? way toa ggro for this for a 5drop that dpes NOTHING when tis played and they dotn even run leeroy.

Odd rogue? betetr 5drops can run and no need for  a5drop that does NOTHING when its played and doesnt help you close out the game at all.

Odd pally? it s inetract with recruits never will be used.

Its inrtesting card, but in WILD its trash you dont play a 5drop that has no tuant or imeadte mpact at all

  • Quote From Sykomyke

Super strong in standard and wild.  Will definitely see play.  Afraid of this card's synergy with Guardian Animals.  PTSD intensifies.

standard sure. Wild, what would even play this? i dont see any dekc in widl that would want to play this  and if wanetd you got much betetr 5drops l
