Trollden videos incoming of this ignoring 7 minions to go face for lethal.
Free 5 face damage (if it survives for 2 turns)? Sounds good to me!
Imprisoned Felmaw is more interesting than I thought on first glance. It hits an random enemy, so it can hit the enemy face. If you're playing some kind of Face Hunter deck, you're probably typically planning to use your hero power on turn 2 anyway, so with this you could plan to try and control the board on turns 1 and 3, and use your turn 2 to prepare for a big hit to the face.
In more of a control archetype, you can play this on 2, play Deadly Shot on turn 3 to help clear enemies out, and then on turn 4 you're playing into what is (hopefully) an empty board.
If it merely has rush then its a straight up upgrade from Imprisoned Vilefiend. As it happens it will attack anything, even a 1/1 lackey so its your opponent that largely controls what this will likely attack, not you.
But there's some potential hidden. Maybe there's way to trigger the effect after dormancy, which will help a little. Also, bear in mind, the effect and the attack itself is separate i.e. if it survives the first 'attack', it can attack again.
In other words, if the board is empty, this will 'attack' the opponent's face for 5. Play Tundra Rhino and it can attack the face again. But whether this is a viable strat will depend largely on whether hunter can gain board control within that two turns of playing this thing.
Tundra Rhino won't work, as we're talking about an imprisioned Demon.
Lol, I literally thought it was a beast. Oh well. If it can be given charge or rush I guess the second attack can happen.
Ok whats the easy way to distinguish a DH card from a Hunter card?
Demon Hunter: Dark green card, Fel green demonic angles lining the border
Hunter: Bright green card, golden-and-green 'leaf' pattern lining the border
Note that Ysera Dream cards have the same decoration as Hunter cards
Thanks this actually helps a lot.
green vs greener xd
If it is a beast is probably an hunter card, if it is a demon is probably a demon hunter card; if it is neither of them, good luck
EDIT: i actually realized this is an hunter card only after i commented
Random enemy..? OH NO THIS CAN GO FACE. Yeh opponents can play something weak to counter it easely, but it's still 5 damage on a timer. If the meta slows down this might see a bit of play. But that goes for all dormant minions. Too slow in a meta that we know right now. Also it's obviously a demon, and hunter has 0 demon synergy. So you can't really buff it or anything. Looks best played at turn 1 with coin, but otherwise it's really dependent on how fast/slow the meta will become.
yeah no, this is way too unreliable on top of having the absurdly slow Dormant mechanic
Nice 5/4 on turn 3 with coi
It goes face!!
KOBOLD SMASH still wont see play, go back to arena.
