Kael'thas Sunstrider synergy and it can be the "replacement" of Leeroy Jenkins. This will most likely see a lot of play.
I dont think its that good with Zuljin, you will probably cast bunch of other stuff that generates minions, so you wont have a board to fit all in. Its goot to get it, but its not "Whooa, thank god Zuljin is rotating" good :D
Not reliable enough for that kind of expense.
Conceptually very cool, and with Kael'thas Sunstrider strats, this gets better. Ideally, you get to punch through a few minions and have a few of the nagrands left. And if the board is empty, you've just dealt 12 damage to the face and developed 4 minions. Obviously if you manage to keep a Tundra Rhino out then you've just won the game, congratulations.
Potential problems? a) Hunter doesnt want to keep cheap spells around unless its face hunter b) Hunter cant draw to save their life, so these kind of combos will be few and far between c) There needs to be more reasons for hunter to start putting Kael'thas Sunstrider into their decks. This alone doesnt cut it d) In most cases around turn 10, enemy minions aren't going to line up nicely. In many cases, you'll be wishing that this card clears the board and not go face. And finally e) Can hunters be relied upon to reach more than 10 turns and not die, or win outright? Not really.
So more than a few problems that makes this card thoroughly unplayable. There's better card this expansion than this, so this card will be nothing more than a "could've been great" card at the end.
Hunter can't even count to 10 (Mana). Too expensive.
This would be more playable at 9 mana. I have the feeling they bumped it to 10 for the novelty (Hunter's first 10 mana spell), but that really hampers how useful it is.
What exactly do people see in this? This is a bad 10 mana Flark's Boomzooka which didn't even see play. Like you're not gonna have an empty board on turn 10. Besides if you want to do a big face damage swing in the late game, Thundra Rhino is a much better option. Finally Hunter cannot afford to run a 10 mana spell, I mean look at how powerful Zul'jin had to be in order to simply be considered in Hunter. The only use for this is through the discover mechanic in the late game. Kael'thas is a meme in Hunter despite Rapid Fire being a good fit.
12 damage to face SMOrc
how?
Even if you had say Tundra Rhino on board them already attacking random enemy minions takes up their attack phase, doesn't it?
if opponent's board is empty they will go face... no charge needed.
It says "random enemies", not "random enemy minions".
AHH I see the wording now.
10 Mana Card in Hunter.... Hmm. Very slow, but it's also a pretty significant Swing.
Also, it might force your Opponent to play Minions, just to prevent Face Damage.
Come on and slam, and welcome to Nagrand! Jokes aside this seems fine but its a huge tempo lose since everything might either go face or pile into the mogu shan warden. However, I guess we'll see how it shakes out obviously as he stated Keal'thas' mana cheat and Zuljin are going to carry this card
if the board is empty it's 12 face damage in one card!
might clear the board, a lot of bodies.. looks very strong to me.
it says random enemies, not random enemy minions.
I’m surprised they didn’t just limit it to enemy minions. Could make a nice finisher for a deck, 12 damage on an empty board. Seems a bit awkward for trying to clear the board with this though
With both this and the Imprisoned demon, Hunter seems to be going in the direction of attacking random enemies. Is that good? Maybe. If your opponent has and empty board and you play this, it's deal 12 damage to face and summon 4 3/5's. That's ridiculous! That scenario probably won't happen very often however, so this card is entirely meta dependent.
Nah, way too expensive and unreliable.
Kael'thas Sunstrider comes in clutch .
Still bad but hey, we're in the reveal season so everything is acceptable :
