Well, i like Kripp and watch his vids etc but i would have prefered someone else for the Reveal Stream ....
Kibler, Dekkster, Regis for example ... i just hope that the Reveal Stream will be better / more interesting than the last one :)
at least for me the other Streams with Kibler etc. were way more fun and entertaining.
So kripp for the 3th time in a row... I don't mind (Even though the last one was HORRIBLE to watch...) I wish it was someone else though. I really like kripp, but why did they invite kripp for a 3th time? And kripp only plays contructed during the first few weeks of a expansion... Other than that he is a 100% Battlegrounds player. Why didn't they invite someone like Regis, who actually plays standard a lot? (and he is always fun to watch, and honest.) Or Kibler? Kibler overhypes cards a lot so you would expect them to invite him? (The overhyping of cards is good for blizz, helps them sell more pre-order bundles)
Or why not invite someone that plays a lot of wild for once? Like Solem or Roffle? (Actually blizz doesn't care about Wild, and so they probably also don't care about streamers that play Wild, so never mind about that...)
Kripparian may be an OK player but he is an awful presenter.
Last time I had to turn off the reveal stream, that bad he was.
He wanted to win game instead of show the cards. He was like "chceking the new card for 2 seconds, considering it shit and going further".
I would love to see the Kibbler, he is funny and enjoys new cards, unlike Kripparian.
Wait.... Did they call Kripp again after the last time? Really? Sounds a bad idea.
Basically at this point they'll call Kripp no matter what, i will not be surprised if they will call him back for the next reveal even if he'd casually take a piss during this stream
I like Kripp but why him? He doesn't even play the game. Regis is always in good mood and Kibler is a great player with great communications skills
We going back to Thursday launches now?
Maybe its time to just have a small party of 2 or 3 instead of the usual 1 on 1.
If anything it makes it harder for salt communities to start pouring after stream.
On one hand you have Kripp, who is a very objective, salty player on the other you have Kibler which overhypes every new card (especially dragons, oh yes we do love dragons) and constantly making misplays. These 2 are the limits basically, as far as famous streamers go.
In the middle we have people like Regis, Thijs and all grandmasters. Here is only personal preference really. I'd like to see Thijs or maybe someone like Tyler and I don't like Regis because he gives me Ben Brode vibes and he is not Ben Brode let's face it.
As a business, Blizzard wants views now during these bad hs times and both Kibler and Kripp are the best in that category sooo that explains it all.
edit: there would have been more options if HS had made good decisions along the way, but we have lost many good streamers like : Forsen, DisguisedToast, Savjz (his comeback doesn't really count), Reynad, Day9, Noxious and many other good people which I can't remember their names
He isn't in any way trying to be Ben Brode so there's nothing to face there. I'm also not sure whether you dislike the fact you personally get Brode vibes from him, or whether you dislike that he has the audacity to not be Ben Brode.
I wish they'd bring RegisKillbin to more of these. That guy's like a bundle of joy who just wants to see all the cool things you can do in Hearthstone. That's the sort of energy they should bring to reveal livestreams.
(I also miss Day9)
I too miss Day9 and Noxious.
They weren't the best, but they made me laugh the most.
so 100% agree. positive energy and fun to listen to
why no Thijs? KEKW
I usually like Kripp's insights, but his last reveal stream was awful, he was not really showing and discussing the cards as he should have.
I hope he will make a better one this time.
Find it odd they didn't do the usual few card tease, until the Final Dump stream, like they usually do. But good to know it's coming "soon™
Do you mean revealing a few cards each day etc? Pretty sure that's set to start in a day or so and go for a week, with this stream at the end.
Always thought it started a bit early, but all good.
Nooo, not Kripp again. Last time was awful. Why not the good old Kibler?
Great, Kripp is on schedule again, the person who absolutely detests playing Hearthstone anymore and is a 100% BG player.. Great to see fresh faces Bliz!
Blizz: Hey, Kripp! You know how you love playing constructed?
Kripp: No.
Blizz: Well we think you’d be perfect to do the final card reveal!
Kripp: Okay...
That is how I imagine the conversation about doing the live stream went.
But honestly, despite not being a constructed player, I feel like Kripp will be able to give accurate feedback and analysis, and maybe even some honest feedback if we see something revealed that devs are excited about, but really is total garbage.
