I definitely wasn't expecting that many Murlocs from a desertic setting ..!
Saviors of UlduMgrrrrrll!

Tip the Scales is broken
Wild is getting a lot of new tools this expansion. Which is great since RoS barely did anything to the Wild meta.
Eh. In wild I don't really see many Anyfin Palain players using this since the deck can already directly tutor their combo pieces from the deck for cheaper than 8 mana (with a minion to boot), plus if you draw poorly this potentially becomes an 8 mana summon 0-2 murlocs from your deck.
Regular Murloc Paladin could be okayish using 1 copy of this spell, but until you get to the late game (which may suggest the paladin player has lost that late in the game anyway) it clogs up the payoff for Divine Favor and curving out your minions before turn 8.
I'm sure it will get some play, but I don't expect it to be came breaking by any means.
Between the 1-Health minions, the return of Murlocs, and the Reborn minions it needs for the Quest, the Paladin seemingly lacks the space to support any of these archetypes in a more significant way. We only have four class cards left to reveal, and we haven't seen a single Paladin minion with Reborn yet. I fear the class is being pulled in too many directions :(
It feels like wild paladin decks are getting better and better at dumping their low-cost minions/secrets onto on the board. It will be interesting to find out the direction that paladin will take.
Murloc Paladin was my first deck, good to see it is back :)
Turn 8 is pretty late. Is there even enough minions in the deck to cast this spell?
I forgot about that. Then, wow! Okay that changes a lot of things.
so recruit 7 murlocs.
Sounds powerful. Like that paladins are getting murloc tech again. Will be fun to play a few times at least I'm sure.
EDIT: After watching kripps video, I think Tip the Scales will bring Bluegill Warrior back into murloc decks.
Wild spiteful murlock pala omegaLUL. Also, dod you mean "Recruit"? Kappa
"Let's give Paladin a quest requiring reborns and give them a murloc card."
-Blizzard
I'm getting angry. None of the revealed cards thus far work for the Paladin quest. I just don't get this
So we get maybe fragile pally and mrglglgl pally.. well i'll have to wait for the last exp for dragon pally then
I love how much this expansion is doing for Wild. Tip the Scales is going to be awesome in a Anyfin Can Happen deck.
Why doesn't Tip the Scales have the keyword Recruit in it? Do they want to keep that keyword only for K&C?
Yup. Many cards before and after K&C have a Recruit-like effect, and yet they don't use the keyword.
To be honest, the most boring Recruit cards are from K&C, even though it being a keyword allowed for more complex effects.
That and this would trigger any "When you summon..." effects.
Edit: Hey geniuses throwing the downvotes; feel free to put up an example of my being wrong. I would mention Steward of Darkshire and Muster for Battle as an interaction where it works literally the exact same way. Same goes for SoD with Stand Against Darkness.
"Recruit 7 murlocs" is literally the same as "summon 7 murlocs from your deck" so I don't see what you are getting at.
