but Jandice needs no setup while this entirely relies on your opponent not triggering secrets (and out of the available ones right now only Avenge is one that you can control, at the cost of not developing more than one minion at a time).
If this was a Hunter legendary I'd see the potential, but Paladin is really, REALLY bad at controlling the board without going for minions.
I think this will come down to how good the rest of the secret package (that I assume is going to be a thing) is because this by itself is not worth building a deck around.
I just meant Jandice is meant for stall and burning resources which is exactly what this card is for. Stalling and burning resources.
Obviously Jandice and Cannon have their differences but their purpose is pretty much the same. Jandice is a lot easier to just slap on board you usually just slap it down as soon as turn 5 hits. Cannon is a lot more situational than Jandice as you can't just slap it down on every turn 5.
But as far as fun goes I love this card. As far as the meta goes we'll see.
holy smokes. it's Christmas season all over again. hope we get some good secrets in the set
will the secret disclosed or they remain "secret" ?
Random secrets that remain disclosed most likely
Not sure how good will be, but will be incredbly annoying to clear though
I wonder if the caster will know which Secret is attached to which 3/3? If so, it can make it easier to get the secret back you want and maybe delay another one...
Obviously, this really depends on the quality of the secret pool, but it also depends on how many secrets Paladin can get into play at once. If there were a Mysterious Challenger or Subject 9 in the meta, we'd be talking, but we don't really have anything, even Desperate Measures is rotating out, so you'll be relying on drawing them the old-fashioned way. Paladin has traditionally hated playing secrets without a way to tutor them, since drawing a 1-cost no-impact spell is usually awful, so I don't think the deck is going to work.
This card hurts my brain a little bit. Will be interesting to see how/if it can be abused.
more a question of "when" I think, and the answer is Day 1 of the new expa
Well this won't be fun trying to clear.
Secret Paladin... hmm..
This is an awesome tool. Not sure how strong it will be, but cool all the same.
I'll be optimistic and say this seems alright, especially with improved secrets pool
That's just very cool. I always liked Paladin's secret, even while they weren't really worth a card.
This card, I assume it means that Paladin will get some new secrets this expansion! Will be interesting to see :)
