Me and the two other people who still play Arena are crying right now. Crazy value, force a removal or kill a minion and keep up card advantage
Poisonous and great battlecry! OK stats for its cost, but, no logic at all in this design.
Well, there's definitely a reasoning for the Poisonous tag given that it is a Venomous Scorpid, but I'll give you that, the spell discovery isn't so obvious ; it bugs me
I think there's a problem with the card art.
Its just a new style team5 is trying out, card art in card art.
It has poisonous and discovers a spell, and its a common card. Basically this card just sent Vulpera Scoundrel packing
There's certainly something to it, for any deck that would like to play a slower pace game. The poisonous tag goes very well with decks that already plays broom in it, like warrior or druid. Even hunter can consider it since its a beast.
There's nothing like an all rounder card, and this one's spherical. Slot it into control decks for the extra value, or combo it with broom for an instant removal and a spell to boot. If Vulpera scouldrel saw play, there's no reason at all why this card wouldn't.
Very powerful card. Discovering spells has always been way better than discovering minions because of pulling only from your class pool. A lot of bad spells have been removed with he classic set rotation, but that's not all. This minion is poisonous, but has 3 health, which means it can trade 3 1/1 tokens or one singular minion regardless of its size. As some people pointed, it can be removed by a 3 damage spell, but I would be more than glad if my opponent wastes removal on my 1/3 that has generated me a spell and threatens his big minion. 5 stars absolutely, I love the balance too, because 1 mana discovers are too powerful, at the same time a 1/3 body is too slow for aggro, so this has its place in more value oriented decks.
yanno what - it's a poisonous minion so it can always trade up in arena, and discovering a spell can sometimes be useful.
meta defining? probably not.
But I'm sure it'll see play.
I love me some more scorpids.
I definitely thought this was some sort of meta "Hearthstone Card" card at first.
Vulpera Scoundrel saw play. This is very similar if not better as the Poisonous makes it a threat to remove anything.
(:
Vulpera saw some play and this card is better in a non-aggro deck since it can't be ignored.
It all comes down to wether the right deck will exist.
It's not "it didn't see play", It's kinda like a filler for 3 mana pool minion. But yeah. Downvotes for a mere comment is just bad.
you don't like it, just skip it.
But this is a neutral card... THe fact that it is beast is just like whatever
It won't see play.
It won't see play
This card will only see play in arena. There is no reason to play it.
A 3 mana 1/3 is terrible it will just get killed by a 3 damage spell or small minions.
