Although this isn't exactly surprising considering Blizzard has cancelled all their other reveal events due to the ongoing sexual harassment lawsuit, it is great to have confirmation that as of now, there will not be a final card reveal stream for United in Stormwind.
We don't know what is planned at this point. There is supposed to be a client patch tomorrow for the new Battlegrounds hero skins which means that the new cards would be arriving in the same patch. Either we're going to see a random dump in the next 24 hours of the remaining cards or we'll just have to datamine them all - which would be very interesting!
I expect we'll get an announcement at some point today from Blizzard about the fate of the reveals, unless they all appear in half an hour which is when the stream was rescheduled to. Either way, be on the lookout because we'll be covering everything right here on Out of Cards.
I have reached out to Blizzard for comment but a comment was not made in time for posting.

I support the focus on the lawsuit and terrible things that happened but was one simple statement "We're cancelling card reveals on our side until further notice" too much to ask? The fact that they cancelled the stream 30 minutes prior to it, same as they did with their twitter and instagram card reveals, is just pissing me off. Why act like its our fault? Just make a statement or something, nobody will flame you for that.
It was to be expected but still kind of bad on their part. I am not going to judge anyone there because we still need to wait for legal finale of the case but it feels bad that players are being kept in the dark on such trivial things like those reveals. One simple comment would do everything here.
But it seems that at least part of us will have what we always wanted since they started to organize pre-release events - no streamers premade decks 5 minutes into expansion. We will be able to enjoy first 30 minutes of the game like back when GvG was released and so :D
instead of coming forward and be straight about it and make up the cancelled reveals and messed up things, they cancelled the main stream everyone was waiting for without even telling us or communicate about it. one again they choose to not communicate at all. i cancelled my work and friend meeting for this stream. yet not surprised by their behavior.
I understand the seriousness in all this, but not even giving us a closed tweet about the caneling stream is SO BAD. l
I was not expecting them to go through with the live stream. The people presenting would be filleted by the chat to the point where the comment section would be one long list of "this comment has been removed". It'd be nice if we got a card dump instead so we could at least see the new cards. If not, I guess we'll find out on August 3.
the BG skins come tommorow, so should be pre pacth then with the cards ingame viewable but not craftable yet.
Kibler stated on his stream today that the theorycrafting streams are going to happen tomorrow. So we'll likely see the cards tomorrow as Blizzard nobly throws HS content creators under the bus.
I know most people on here don't need this reminder, but please don't harass the streamers tomorrow. None of what is happening should fall on their shoulders.
It is quite sad that all this drama is tainting the reveal season. I feel like while everything else at Blizzard is going downhill the Hearthstone team actually made a lot of big steps in the right direction and I am loving the expansions this year being more WoW related.
That's not acceptable, they had the whole weekend to at least warn us in advance. Many of us were looking forward to this livestream and they're punishing the playerbase over the company's mistakes. It's nothing like content creators not revealing their cards in support. At least dump all the cards.
in their defense, we have no clue what is going on behind the scenes at this point. There's a good chance they genuinely had no idea whether the stream was going to be greenlit or not. Let's not jump to conclusions and blame it on people who are subject to extremely chaotic circumstances and might be relying on higher-ups to continue operations.
I'm gonna assume they'll just reveal dump the rest at some point in the near future. I doubt they'll just delay it for no reason when there's very little chance of doing livestreams any time soon.
I would not be bothered at all if they told us ahead of time. But just basically ghosting us really sucks.
Yeah that's so unprofessional of them
I get it! I was looking forward to the reveal as well. But honestly, there are worse things that could happen. Like, for example, being sexually harassed and/or assaulted! So whether the streamer involved cancelled last minute, or if employees involved in producing the stream decided to use this as a moment of protest, or if they just want to avoid the live stream chat commentary, I completely understand cancelling the stream.
I’m sure we’ll get to see them all soon anyway. Either later today or tomorrow is my guess.
The point isn't that things are going weird because of an indeed much more serious matter.
The point is that they're being extremely unprofessional by literally not saying anything. It takes 1 minute to write a short message warning everyone about the cancellation, then 5 minutes to have it be greenlit by whoever must approve it, then another minute to upload it. I couldn't care less about the stream in and of itself, it's just about communicating decently.
I agree with you that the sexual assault is way more serious, but this is a strange hill to die on. We can both be upset at Blizzard for the workplace envrionment, and for ghosting us. I know I am.
So they could have canceld this FIVE days ago and not 30 minutes before start.
Sure nobody cares about 2h livestream at all , just show the cards no reason not to ty
I guess they're concerned about the chat during any livestream. Which is fair.
Or maybe the streamer that was going to showcase cards and new decks cancelled on them.
I think its good that the team is standing with their colleagues that have not been fairly treated. There are a lot of questions everyone has and needs to answer so a delay or the cancellation of the stream while they figure out what is right for their team makes a lot of sense.
But why?! ok I know a reason, but the changed the schedule after that reason. So the better question would be: why now?
I just bought snacks and drinks for the stream :(
