Although this isn't exactly surprising considering Blizzard has cancelled all their other reveal events due to the ongoing sexual harassment lawsuit, it is great to have confirmation that as of now, there will not be a final card reveal stream for United in Stormwind.
We don't know what is planned at this point. There is supposed to be a client patch tomorrow for the new Battlegrounds hero skins which means that the new cards would be arriving in the same patch. Either we're going to see a random dump in the next 24 hours of the remaining cards or we'll just have to datamine them all - which would be very interesting!
I expect we'll get an announcement at some point today from Blizzard about the fate of the reveals, unless they all appear in half an hour which is when the stream was rescheduled to. Either way, be on the lookout because we'll be covering everything right here on Out of Cards.
I have reached out to Blizzard for comment but a comment was not made in time for posting.

Looks like the theorycrafting streams will act as the final reveal for this expansion. These will occur on the contracted streamers' (the usual crew of high-profile HS players like Regis Killbin, Alliestrasza, Thijs, Brian Kibler, etc.) individual Twitch channel at 9 a.m. Pacific today.
The comment section isn't suited for long discussions like this
Kinda sucks because i was looking forward to the Reveal Stream ...
I still understand why they did it even tough as far as we know no Team5 Member was associated with any allegations so far. They could have at least announced the Cancel and maybe even said that they will dump the cards etc
Nonethelss im still hoping for some kind of reveal or maybe even a card dump with an at least almost specific time and date - guess i look forward to the Theory Crafting Streams - those are usualy fun.
The Year of The Gryphon has not had great releases so far. With FiTB being near unplayable on release due to a bug, and recent events putting a damper on the mood. I just think this all will make the final set this year extra special if everything goes smoothly.
What was the bug? I dont remember any bug.
If you queued into a game with or against an opponent with a golden card from the base set, both players would disconnect. It was around for two or three days and made it really hard to find a game.
yeah that sucked. At least they were able to fix it quickly, plus word of the workaround got out somewhat quickly.
Its going to be a card dump then, likely tomorrow since that was the date for the full reveals to have been done anyway.
This is going to go down as one of the roughest times in hearthstone history. Disappointing. Not merely because of the shambles that is and was the final portion of the reveal season, but also that's it bringing out the worst of some people in its community.
As many have opined, least they could've done is to tell us earlier what just happened. I mean they moved the final reveals a day earlier only to move it again? Fairly certain 99% of the community supports any notion of solidarity for the victims of harassment but no one likes to be served shit when they've clearly been promised some ice cream.
The lack of communication reminds me the situation around reward track introduction. In both cases the silence of developers and marketing team made the situation much worse.
You used the word opined again, and that always earns a +1 from me.
Honestly I would have rather had they cancel the theory craft streams aswell then.. ofcourse the streamers have nothing to do with this and some rightfuly did not reveal their card. Just the whole mess with all the sexual harassment and discrimination claims going on,.But also them knowing the cards early on and getting to play them feels a bit to much like streamer privilege to me.
Let's hope that the cards are dumped before the theorycraft stream. Otherwise, the usual dislike for such things are going to be amped a little higher than usual. I have nothing against the streamers getting to play early. I would usually watch them myself. But it does grate more than a little that Im literally tuning in just to see what are the new cards we're going to get.
Yeah, and I forgot to add this to my original post: it effectively makes the streamers a PR - shield for blizzard. Which is disgusting, havign the streamers talk to the angry customers for you..
Cards will be revealed today or tomorrow, coz the theory crafting streams have been confirmed by Brian Kibler: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_nSrR8dQ40g
My dissappointment is immeasurable and my day is ruined.
sorry dude, I know folks were looking forward to this
You don't know the meme, do you?
I do, but given how a lot of people were looking forward to this I thought you were being memey and sincere
If this is actually part of coordinated work-stoppages or slow downs on the part of the employees, then the best thing to do is to direct your ire at the upper management that's created such an insane culture. The issues outlined in the complaint require immediate internal actions well before a lawsuit like this is resolved. The entire reason HR evolved from running payroll and administering benefits into a department that could effectively address workplace abuse and harassment is because companies were paying out huge suits throughout the 90s. A behemoth like Activision-Blizzard crippling HR like this, leading to decades of gross behavior*, means they not only should be sued like any other corporate giant, but that some heads need to roll, and new leadership brought in at a high level. That means board and shareholder involvement, and they're only going to take notice if huge public deadlines are missed. I'm not saying that's what's happening here - I have 0 inside information - but if the Hearthstone team really is intentionally scuttling the release, then they should be supported by the community, not condemned. If your para-social relationship with the game and its developers is strong enough to care what they think, then you should care how they're treated, and how they think the company, at the highest levels, needs to respond.
*For those that want to argue about what's been proven or not, please read up on what a grand jury is, read the complaint in-full, and reflect on the sheer amount of evidence the State of California already has in their possession before a civil complaint like this is filed.
