Whenever Hearthstone patches new cards into the game, we've always got a few odd scenarios where new cards appear in the game even though it feels like maybe they shouldn't. One such case is where Transfer Student, which was given a new Tradeable version of the card, gets to make use of the new keyword when you are playing on the new game board.
Due to this, you can start working on your progress towards the "WTB" and "WTS" achievements that were added in the same patch. In the case of "WTS", you'll need to send your Tradeable cards back to your deck 40, 80, and 160 times, and if you are more of a "WTB" person, you need to play the Tradeable card a total of 75 times with the first achievement of the two completing at only 30 plays. In total, if you were to insanely complete all the achievements, you'd have 1400 XP lined up for the new set.
Although it doesn't give you a huge edge, this is a way for you to start getting experience ready to collect on day 1 when the new rewards track goes live on August 3 alongside the Stormwind launch. Getting yourself up into those sweet rewards even a tiny bit faster means opening the free United in Stormwind packs as soon as possible.
If you aren't aware of Tradeable, the newest keyword to join the game, its a simple yet important addition to the game. A card with Tradeable can be dragged back into your deck at a cost of 1 mana. Doing this draws a new card from your deck giving us some new flexibility in our deckbuilding. If you want to read up more on Tradeable, we have a dedicated keyword guide that dives into the mechanic and gives you an example of some of the cards you'll see with it.
So, have you been messing around with the new mechanic on our scholar friend? That Vulpera has sure gotten around the world quite a bit while learning new mechanics over the past 2 years.

Or play Duels where the cards can be generated or found in buckets.
Btw I didn't see any article for the new passives that were added with the patch. Sad to see the game mode being so ignored. :(
Its not being ignored, there is just a million things going on right now. There are only so many hours in a day =/
Also FWIW, we do have a Duels article in the pipeline that should be arriving today.
Glad to hear it! :)
Oh yea thanks for mentioning this. Also I see that Galewing is a Gryphon

Yep, he is meant to be Flightmaster Dungar's trusted flying buddy. They are being cheesy by reversing the roles.
What are the chances of getting the Stormwind board though? I guess if you're at a rank floor and just want to do the achievements, you can concede when you get the wrong board and try again
Someone can correct me if I'm wrong, but in Standard I think the odds of a given board are 20%, due to there being 5 sets in Standard with 5 boards associated with them (I think the 4 Classic boards were removed from Standard in April). I wouldn't bother trying to rig it personally.
