This week the Playoffs for China's Grandmasters 2021 Season 2 will take place in Shanghai, where 8 players will battle it out for the last remaining spot at the World Championship next month. You can find everything you need to know below.
Competition Format
The competition uses the most common format of the Hearthstone tournaments.
- Best-of-five Conquest with one ban.
- Two Dual Elimination groups with top 2 players advancing.
- Top 4 play through a single-elimination bracket to decide the winner.

These eight players gathered the most Gold points during the qualification period (July-October), earning the chance of winning the coveted World Championship spot.

The competition will take place over two days, November 23rd-24th (22nd-23rd in Americas). The schedule of both days will be the same.

That's a stacked line-up! XiaoT is the obvious favourite seeing his succes last weekend, but I wouldn't put it past any of these players to take it home. Shame there's not an English restream though, I wonder if there's any rules against restreaming it yourself?
My Chinese skills are non-existent so I can't event attempt to find out if they say anything about that, but one would imagine that there are some restrictions in place. If you're truly interested, you should first try to ask the good old western Blizzard about it, and they could in turn contact local authorities (in lack of a better word) if needed.
