Well....at least Felfire Deadeye will be gone next expansion...
I guess OTK out of nowhere is DEmon Hunter class identity.
Blizzard printing cards they know they will nerf in two weeks after expansion release. Third time already. Good way to make ppl buy more things tho.
Can't wait for the eventual patch that nerfs Felfire Deadeye to read "Your Hero Power costs (1) less, but no less than (1)".
This is one of the cards, with the other combo pieces mentioned previously, that will deter anyone from playing on board after turn 5 or so.
It'll basically mean getting back to the "from hand" play style instead of the minion-based one, unless you want to take 12+ damage to the face in one turn.
Too bad, i really had hopes to actually see more minions and more board battles this expansion...
They haven't learned from 1 mana hero powers hah
How do the demons improve? Increased attack, stats, or amount of them summoned?
Attack increases, I just watched Zeddy mentioning it
You mean Zeddy who can't even read the card before evaluation and instead of HP refresh on minion attack he evaluates it as HP refresh on minion death?
*chad pose*
Yes, the same Zeddy
My guess it will be the # summoned which is crazy
Even if it's just attack, it's still crazy because they have rush.
yeah it sure is, but I think summon would be better...turn 10 play with 4 attack in bank summoning 4 minions will give you 8 attack with hero, good for finishing off opponent
This could finally make token DH a thing. I'm curious how your hero attacks affect the summoned demons, I'm guessing their attack scales with the number of times you attacked?
Also, there is the Felfire Deadeye + Expendable Performers dream with the upgraded hero power.
Edit: ok wow three people already beat me to it lol
That hero power is straight up busted. You can just play Felfire Deadeye with Expendable Performers and just tap hp about 10 times and kill your opponent. It effectively means anything left on board against dhunter is a dangerous threat.
As for the battlecry. No idea what this means. I assume you'll summon more 1/4 rush minions each time you hp before you play this card. But honestly, even if this comes with a mere 1/4 and 5 armor, if the hp works as I think it does, then you'll slam this on 6 regardless.
You need 9 mana and your opponent needs to have 12 health in minions on the board to pull that off, so it's not that unfair. You know, unlike certain other cards printed this year that do not require your opponent to have any specific board and can be done on like turn 5 or 6.
Agreed, but dapper does make a fair point: it's still a rather busted hero power interaction all things considered. Also, I really wish that when they did heroes, they would put more power into the battlecry effects of heroe cards and less into the actual hero powers. That way they act as psuedo upgrades to the hero power, but one time powerful effects. And not just a different flavor of questlines (which effectively do the same thing
wow, this is nuts
I'm assuming the tokens will get an additional 1/4 stats per attack.
Tokens get increased attack each time you attack.
Also Felfire Deadeye and Expendable Performers is a good finishing combo.
Just two hero attacks would summon two 3/12s with rush. Seems too OP. My guess is that the tokens just get an additional +1 attack per hero attack, since that's what Demon Hunter's button does.
That Hero Power looks super dangerous with Expendable Performers and Felfire Deadeye, maybe this crazy amount of burst will finally make Token DH meta-viable?
