We've reached the final set of cards before reveals begin again - and what an EVIL set we have left! Two Galakronds, some interesting Invokers and even a Shaman card. Just the one though, we don't want them getting too much right now. As always, everything we say is definitely correct and if it isn't it still is. You get me? Good.

Quote From Cable Knight

This is a solid Control card for Priest. The Battlecry effect provides some much-needed board clear, and the hero power isn't too terrible. Priest minions in general are pretty mediocre, but getting a dozen over the course of the game adds up. Problem is, how do you win? The days where control decks could win by simply outvaluing your opponent with decent cards are mostly gone. In order for this deck to work, we'll need a finisher. Fortunately, Priest might already have one: Princess Talanji. If used with Seance, we could be looking at multiple huge boards a game. Is that good enough to beat out the Quest Druids and Dragon Warriors? Maybe. I would rate this as very meta-dependent.

Fate Weaver Card Image

A sense of looming dread befalls you.

Quote From Demonxz95

Fate Weaver seems like a strong card to me. Priests love Dragon synergies and holding cards, and Fate Weaver helps with both of those. It even has pretty good synergy with the cards that Invoke Galakrond since that will add minions to your hand, and then Fate Weaver can decrease their Cost. It's also a 4 mana 3/6 which means it has pretty good stats and you can play two of them in one turn, on top of its crazy effect. Remember Emperor Thaurissan? Exactly.

Out of all of the Galakrond synergy cards we've seen so far though, this one has the most interesting applications for its effect. With two copies of Fate Weaver, maybe you can run a Galakrond Priest deck where Galakrond isn’t your main win condition, but actually a combo made possible with the cost-reduction effect. If there's a class able to survive and hold all of their tools, it's Priest.

It's also an Infinite Dragon, which means that it inherently looks cool, so yeah, A+ card all around.

Are you dead? Or were you simply never alive?

Quote From Cable Knight

It's Assassinate that will draw you a below-average minion. This might not look to exciting by itself, but it could serve an important role in Galakrond Priest by keeping control of the board while not losing card advantage. Plus, with all these giant dragons getting ready to enter the meta, having a few extra single-target removals might come in handy.

Lightning Breath Card Image

Thunderbolts and Lightning, all our ships are dying, eek! Galakrond! (Galakrond!)

Quote From Demonxz95

As the only Shaman card we've seen so far, it's a bit difficult to speak about this card in context with the other cards. Given that Shaman has exactly 0 class Dragons (a trait it shares with Druid, Rogue, and Warlock), Dragon (and Dragon synergy) Shamans will be among the most interesting to see out of the whole bunch.

Should Dragon Shaman be a meta deck however, this is the card that will carry it. Dealing 4 damage to a minion is fairly mediocre, but not terrible, for 3 mana (as Shadow Bolt has seen occasional play over the years), but otherwise, the effect is basically a double-Powershot for the same Cost as a single one. To put it lightly, that's quite strong. In any hypothetical Dragon Shaman, you play this card. No question about it. Now we just need Shamans to get good Dragon support, which will be a challenge given they have none in the entire game.

The resurrection was imp-erfect.

Quote From sinti

This one is hard to evaluate for me. I think it will find its home in a zoo-ish type of deck, maybe with Spirit of the Bat as an anchor point. Invoke (=Hero Power) gives you tokens and Galakrond itself will act as a final push for damage via the 5/2 weapon plus 4 random demons, giving you some board presence. I'm not convinced it will be a good deck until we see some more support for it with more cards released. But since everyone gets Galakrond(s) for free, it should provide for a rather cheap deck that should win games in lower ranks, so that is always nice for new players.

Veiled Worshipper Card Image

Kill 'em with curtains.

Quote From Demonxz95

Veiled Worshipper is one of the most insane Galakrond support cards we've seen so far, and it's fairly likely to stay that way even after all 140 cards are revealed. Drawing 3 cards on a 5/4 body essentially makes this a -1 mana 5/4, not to mention the sweet card advantage. Compared to Umbral Skulker and Fate Weaver, this is the only one of the three with an immediate effect by itself without any combo-ing needed. This puts it in an awkward position when it’s paired with arguably the weakest incantation of Galakrond in terms of class (at the very least in terms of Galakrond himself as the Invoke effect is actually quite good).

The high-rolly nature of Galakrond, the Wretched may be the downfall of Galakrond himself, but this is a ludicrously powerful card if "Galalock" (as I’ve decided to call it) does see play. A Zoo version of Galalock may be possible given the strong Invoke effect and the zoo-like support by Fiendish Rites and Dragonblight Cultist.

Dragonblight Cultist Card Image

He's got a bone to pick you with.

Quote From FrostyFeet

Another Warlock card that initially made me think "Are you kidding me?" as it seems quite weak. While Fiendish Rites has the luxury of potentially buffing bigger minions, this card will only produce 1-Health minions. Even though going wide early on is the Zoo dream, the lack of Health makes this card very susceptible to any form of board clears. The new meta will eventually decide if Dragonblight Cultist will have a place in it but I wouldn't be surprised if Warlocks will choose to go with some other Invoke-cards over it.

What in tar creation?

Quote From FrostyFeet

This card is clearly meant for Zoo-style decks. At first glance this card seems really weak, the easiest comparable cards being Blessing of the Ancients and Savage Roar. 3-Mana +1/+0 just doesn't feel good. When taking into account the fact that Invoking Galakrond also triggers its Hero Power, Galakrond's Malice in this case, the card starts to seem a little better. While getting 4/2 worth of stats over two bodies isn't the greatest deal in Hearthstone history, it should still be solid enough to warrant some experimentation in Gul'dan's new schemes.

Deathwing, Mad Aspect Card Image

"You know, I am really quite ticked off at you right now" - Deathwing, Mad Respect

Quote From sinti

This looks like a pretty good iteration of Deathwing. I guess he still does not like to play with others :) In theory, it seems to be a very good aoe clear when your own board is empty, or you can trade off your board to help set up his Battlecry. Also a powerful addition to the 8 Mana minion pool for evolve shenanigans. From the cards revealed so far, we can already tell there will be a lot of "Discover a dragon" options, along with those Warrior already has, I would not be surprised if you see this card rather often, even if none of the players started with it in their deck. It will definitely be one of those cards that you might need to be aware of when thinking about "How can I lose this" (or not lose i suppose!) type of situations.

Molten Breath Card Image

Nobody tell them that's just what Dragons do, they'll feel bad.

Quote From Cable Knight

This card looks very good when compared to Bash and Militia Commander, which were solid cards for Control Warrior back in the day. It's important to note that it'll do the 5 damage regardless of whether or not you have a dragon in hand, which makes it decent even in those unlucky games. This is a shoe-in for Control Dragon Warrior, if that ever becomes a thing.
