We've the start of community card reveals for Murder at Castle Nathria! Today we've got Brian Kibler and Associate Game Designer, Leo Robles Gonzalez, talking about the new Location cards in a special video showcase. Onto those reveals!
- Each class has a "covenant spell" in this expansion which is thematic with the class murder suspect.
- You can have multiple location cards in play at the same time.
- They found a lot of opportunities to provide death-incentive gameplay in classes that normally don't get it due to the theme of the expansion.
- "There are some other Deathrattle minions in the set that work with Hedge Maze and are pretty sweet"
- Each class will be receiving one Location card. They will be creating more Location cards in future expansions, they are not limited to Castle Nathria.
- Leo said he's very excited for an upcoming "Weapon/Minion" card.

Remornia must be the cool weapon/minion teased, it is sire denathrius' sentient blade and probably a warrior (legendary) card.
Livestream early? That's yet another precedent made I guess. Kibler is an all rounder, so in my opinion they made a good choice.
So priest's location gives out buffs, make me think that paladin's would be to give out divine shields.
At this point any mention of deathrattle rogue is basically a meme, so let's hope that Hedge Maze had better not be yet another bait for one. But on its own merits its kinda dangerous, even if you have to first pay 3 mana for it. Having a 0 mana deathrattle trigger can be insane. Edit: Its a druid card, can't read apparently :(
As for mage's new identity, volatile skeletons is just another word for bomb mage. But with shaman having more transform effects given to them, as well as priest's omnipresence for silences, the extra interactivity would probably make it less consistent than abyssal curses or bombs.
Hedge Maze is a Druid card. And if it was a Rogue card it would be pretty scary in Mine Rogue.
Err, the Maze is a druid card (though they should really have chosen a paler brown for it!), so I guess druid is a deathrattle class now as well? Poor deathrattle rogue, it can't catch a break :P
Yeah, kinda missed out with that one. Oh well, pile on more shit on deathrattle rogue, why not?
I mean, its almost like team5 gets up messing with deathrattle rogue hopefuls.
In Video Deathborne (mage spell that deals 2 damage and summons skeletons) is 5 Mana.
I assume 6 mana version seen here is final ?
The video was recorded some time ago before they did a balance pass. Cards on our page are up to date!
If kel targeted the opponents face and the cards that summoned the skeletons summoned one more, i could see Kel being a viable strat.
It targets the opponents face, not because of Kel, but because of the effect of the skeletons.
The skeletons say they target a random enemy, not the enemy hero..?
Ohh a not-so-passive Freeze Mage? Now that looks fun
Ellitist Snob is actually 3/4 (according to Cora's tweet)
That new KT is sweet. I love the idea of the exploding skeletons! Mage seems to have a real fun package.
Wish we got to see a bit more of what paladin will offer. Pure Paladin Light seems interesting though.
Ok, I disliked the location borders because of how hard it is to tell what card it belongs to, but REALLY HATE the Golden version. Hopefully it's a temporary thing.
Otherwise, the set looks like it'll be fun!
I scrolled down to the comment section just to point out the same thing. Golden Locations' class is unrecognizable.
A livestream match this early into the reveal season?
That's something you don't see very much.
They updated technologies now... They did it once before I think
pls give rogue a usable deathrattle
"here, take this deathrattle druid instead"
please no... deathrattle rogue is already annoying on ladder as is
