We've got news on five cards being nerfed this Thursday! Blizzard hasn't yet provided us with the exact changes, but they have let us know the list that are being targeted.
Changes are due to arrive on Thursday alongside the patch notes - guess them in the comments below!

Did not see the Legion Overseer getting nerfed
So, some relief for wild players because there's plenty of OTK in that format. Addressing some of the more annoying ones is the right step. I dont play wild at a high level, but I feel not addressing Twig of the World Tree bs is possibly a mistake.
But for standard, there's two very obvious candidates and a few misses in my opinion.
Construct Quarter spawns a 4/5 rush for 3 mana. That alone is insane enough. Not sure how team5 will address this but if they either remove the rush or lower it down to a 3/4 that would substantially reduce DK's tempo and allow other decks like pally to actually take board. But more likely they'll just nerf it to 2 uses instead.
Goldshire Gnoll nerf is unfortunate, because its one of those cards most control decks would want to help against aggro. But team5 just had to ruin it by printing Blazing Transmutation, a card that would otherwise be unplayable. So we nerf gnoll to 11 mana probably, so where does this leave blazing transmutation at?
Grey Sage Parrot is tricky. They can revert this back to 8 mana and this card becomes unplayable. Or they can change this to cast a copy of a spell that costs 5 mana or more last turn instead of any previous turn. Its probably a nerf more impactful to wild than standard.
Not nerfing Frostwyrm's Fury is probably a mistake. If you want to know why there isn't any other viable aggro or midrange deck around, this is the main reason why. Not only does this immediately flip board, it can be tutored, and it can be discovered - to a frankly ridiculously consistent degree. Its practically Snowfall Guardian that only targets one side, and in a more aggressive class/deck.
Its a frustrating experience going against DK to be honest. You'll never be 100% sure how to mulligan against them and their cards (at what they do) are simply better than everyone else's. Its identity at this point is 'whatever you want to do I can do better'. Another reason why I dont like the rune system.
Dont see them changing stats of location at all
it shares token with dark transformation and that isnt in picture here.
So its text, cost or durablity or a mix of those.
Bird is easy making or 6 or more vs 5 or more, keeps it for big spell mage. Stops the easy infinite turns.
Why couldn't they change?
Anyway if cost/durability are only changing then comparing with Caverns, for 12/15 worth of easy rush stats it should at least cost 5.
With durability dropped at 2, maybe push it to 4.
Still would be very playable.
100% agree about Frostwyrm's Fury!
After being initially cautious with DK in order to avoid another overpowering DH release scenario, it seems they couldn't help letting go of the caution and create a buzz after a slow ramp of buffs to DK, culminating with the miniset and a card like Construct Quarter.
Not to mention targeted Discover effects, tutors/draw...the class is clearly pushed.
I don't see any problem personally with increasing Frostwyrm to at least 8, and Quarter to only generate 3/4's - the synergy with eggs is so strong already.
Gnoll is not such a big problem as it will rotate.
Even if it stays, the 10-cost pool can easily be dealt with by introducing some low-rolls battlecries.
I'm concerned after the rotation, most classes will be in shambles while DK will retain it key power cards.
At least two problem cards are being targeted for Standard, the DK site and Gnoll for Shaman crazy games.
I desperately hope that this is not the extent of their 'wild adjustments' becuase they do not come close.
I'd like to see the Grey Sage Parrot pay attention to how much was actually SPENT casting the spell. I hate it when my opponent uses Barbaric Sorceress, for example, to cast Rune of the Archmage for less then 5 mana, then repeat with a Parrot as if it actually cost 9.
never willl work that way, either because the code doesn't allow it or because it's just unintuitive.
Well, since it does explicitly say "the last spell you've cast" they could just add the info on the card telling you the spell it would recast.
This could solve the unintuive part.
Interesting they would choose Parrot as a target. I guess they are scared of Big Spell Mage just taking over after the format shifts.
Also I feel like it's a miss to not nerf Frostwyrm's Fury. That card will always be a crutch for Frost DK and would be more balanced at 8-mana while leaving more design space.
Can't say anything about Wild, but surely there are more changes on the horizon if they actually plan to affect the format in a meaningful way.
Also, keeping Cataclysm around all these years for nostalgia is finally paying off.
I’m guessing the nerf to parrot is for Wild Quest Mage
Well, it looks like devs won't address all issues but regardless a small step to start somewhere for Wild. Druids still having infinite mana, Secret Mages popping 5/5 or 6/6 s as early as turn 2-3, Big Priest graveyard interaction not changed... Man, Wild sure is Wild that you can get lost in the jungle 😅
Big priests graveyard isnt changing certainyl not a nerf patch ever.
IF it ever happens its gonna be a expansion/year launch with big rework of game.
But are other ways they could touch it, like to illuminate to holy only for effect so more turn 2/3 neptulons/bloods.
While I like your reasoning behind Illuminate, devs can definitely redesign graveyard mechanism. I mean, if there are cards which consume Corpse counter for DK, they can surely redesign Resurrect-like cards which can "consume" a minion from "death". I can even speculate that Corpse counter mechanism is a prototype which devs are willing to tinker with graveyard later on. It can even be expanded upon other summoning cards such as N'Zoth.
