Festival of Legends is just a few days away with its global launch arriving on April 11, which means there are free rewards on the table for Hearthstone's Arena mode if you start a run beforehand. More info on how you can take advantage of this refund quirk can be found below.
Arena Rotation
We have a new rotation coming when the expansion hits. Here are the sets that will be available in the Arena.
Quote From Blizzard On April 11, when Festival of Legends launches, all current Arena runs will end and a new Arena season will begin. The eligible sets will rotate so that the following sets will make up the Arena card pool:
- Core
- Voyage to the Sunken City
- Murder at Castle Nathria
- March of the Lich King
- Path of Arthas
- Festival of Legends
"Free" Tavern Ticket for Arena
Tavern Tickets, we all know and love them. Occasionally found on the Rewards Track and also known as corresponding to the typical entrance fee of 150 gold (or some spare change) for both Arena and (Heroic) Duels.
As per usual, start an Arena run, leave it at X wins and a maximum of 2 losses and get rewards equal to the amount of wins you concluded the run with, plus a Tavern Ticket when your run gets retired with the rotation.
Don't forget that Arena entries might close up to few hours prior to the expansion launch, based on your server time. Don't leave it for last minute!

I have a duel run from a few months ago, no reset.
Always appreciate the reminder :)
Usually only get used to the meta once it's about to be rotated.. oh well back to 3-3 runs again :(

I have a question, does it also work with Duels? I remember it used to though, just need confirmation.
It usually does, but Duels already had a reset last week when the patch hit, so there was no heads up, sadly.
Ok, thanks for the confirmation Sinti. I did for Arena way ahead but was reluctant whether it works for Duels or not. Now that I know it works, I'll do it onwards.
It works for Duels sometimes. If a new set is added but nothing is taken away, they might not go ahead with the kind of reset that nets you a ticket. Or they could be obscure about when exactly it happens: the Duels rating reset was earlier this week, but I don't remember netting a ticket. Will we get the ticket when the expansion launches, or is it never going to happen? It's a crapshoot :/
Zeddy confirmed in his recent videos that you do get the tavern ticket, you just won't get the notification that you received one. So head over to heroic duels, start a run and see if you get asked to spend gold/runestones or if you have a ticket to use.
