Overkill should work the same as Mass Hysteria, meaning it won't trigger on your opponents turn, so an enemy minion pulled for a Duel won't trigger Overkill.
Would overkill work with this card because you are not attacking by yourself and overkill doesnt trigger in defence but its says attack so probably.
There are also decks you can build around this card, one to disrupt the opponent and for instance: Oondasta gets pulled out of your deck and fights [Hearthstone Card (Jan'alai the Dragonhawk) Not Found] , saying: let met get rid of that pesky elemental for you whilest slamming a big beast onto your board. RNGesus be my savior!
I like it lots of combo disrupter cards, they're not hard counters which give them a chance to bypass the disruption but theres some way to fight combo now. before there was nothing if you didnt draw well and smash them quick you died to the mesh of card draw, mass removal then the combo.
I almost feel like these combo disruption cards came too late. Lot of OTK stuff rotates. What a shame.
A good card for a control paladin deck
The design of this looks cool, I really like it. People are generally happy with how many disruption-type effects we're getting, and developers have sure delivered on their promise when they hinted there'd be a few. The only issue I'm seeing is that all of them will disappear in one rotation, and new ones will need to be re-printed pretty much every set (for as long as the support every archetype and means to counter it)?
Good to see more combo disruption. Mojomaster Zihi last expansion, now both this and Hecklebot. Expectations exceeded :O
So basically Wild Paladin is the OTK deck that also kills all the other OTK decks?
Nice to see that we will have multiple OTK disruptor cards available.
I like this. Not exactly sure of optimal usage but it's a cool combination of recruit with the effect of Hecklebot that also forces a trade. Paulding is looking like a good control class.
