I though Lubbin' was a high reward/high risk kind of strategy - it didn't bothered me too much - but I could tell it was gaining some traction and popularity, which may have been the issue .. oh well, farewell Landlubber!
While I imagine Blizzard is fine with people experimenting and coming up with new strategies (up to a point), the Landlubber strat is just out of hand. Landing in the Top 4 despite staying on Tier 2 for a long time goes against Blizzard's "intended" method of play, and the method by-which those players gain 50+ gold and just plow people over is not fun to deal with. I suppose that's why Landlubber is getting the boot for now.
