Odd Spell Damage in Scholomance

I've recently started playing Odd Shaman just for the memes, but it's actually turned out to be a pretty fun deck.  A mix of Overload, Spell Damage, and Totem synergies makes for a pretty entertaining deck.

The deck has received quite a few new tools in the expansions since Odd Shaman began to rise in popularity when Arcane Watcher came out, which with Totemic Slam being able to summon a Spell Damage Totem on demand, effectively allows you to ignore the text making it a raw 3 mana 5/6. The Overload cards that Descent of Dragons brought gave the deck some more consistency and burst damage and more recently, Ashes of Outland has added a handful of wonderful 3-drops to the deck with Totemic Reflection letting you double up on your Totem's effects and adding some more burst, Lady Vashj being a well stated Spell Damage minion that is a great follow up to a coined Arcane Watcher on turn two and also giving the deck some card draw later in the game from Vashj Prime, and Serpentshrine Portal which works great with all the spell damage and overload going on as well as helping to swing boards of just burn the opponent's face.

Scholomance Academy is bringing a few cards designed with Spell Damage in mind which I think will fit the deck rather nicely or just be fun to play around with. Ras Frostwhisper is at worst a Despicable Dreadlord, but scales with Spell Damage which could give the deck a way to come back against wide boards which it has been lacking. Molten Blast is an Imp-losion without the RNG, I'm a bit skeptical of replacing Lava Burst with them, but it could help swing boards similarly to Serpentshrine Portal and plays well into Storm's Wrath. Primordial Studies could be pretty hit or miss, but I'm gonna try them out at first with dreams of discovering and coining a Squallhunter on turn 2.
