  Not exactly the same, but I had an old meme deck that I originally made around one of the Fire Festivals and the entire deck was built around getting multiple copies of Ragnaros on board with a Drakkari Enchanter to watch fire rain down on your opponent like it was a second Cataclysm!  It did pretty well for a while, but as is would likely be freaking awful right now.

  Perhaps with some updating it could live again.  It's here if anyone is curious and wants to give it a look.  I could usually get 3 Rags and Drakkari if I had time to set up, but I think I got 4 Rags and the Drakkari in one and only one game over the time that I played it.

  Wouldn't you want to include another way to yank Ragnaros the Firelord out of your deck other than just Shadow Essence?  To me this just seems like you only have 3 opportunities to get him out of you deck.  Even though it is a substantially higher cost card, why not Blood of G'huun? That way when you rez, if he's in your deck you get another 5/5 that can be rezed as well

  Took out 1x Excavated Evil and added 1x Blood og G'huun.

  Going better now

  Especially if I draw Rag, since you can't summon him before turn 8.

  You'll never ever draw it because of Sphere of Sapience.
