Fires of Zin-Azshari Achievement

I got this deck from watching Roffle's Twitch stream. If you want some daily, fresh, entertaining, wild fun I would recommend anyone giving him a watch. The achievement for this deck is "In Hot Water" and requires you to play 50/100/200 minions created by The Fires of Zin-Azshari. I'm not going to lie and say this is a quick acheivement, I just completed the first stage after 14 games with the deck and one of those was against a similar deck where I was able to play out all but about 10 of my created minions. I calculate needing 60+ games to finish it off. Some will be frustrating, but some will see some really cool plays come off your minions.

The concept is fairly simple, mulligan hard for The Fires of Zin-Azshari and play the minions you draw off it every turn. We are using Genn Greymane to give us some early armor gain while we are waiting to draw and/or play The Fires of Zin-Azshari. Also notice that we have both Drek'Thar and Vanndar Stormpike in the deck. Our perfect world has us getting both of them and The Fires of Zin-Azshari in our hand before turn 3. Turn 3 has us play The Fires of Zin-Azshari with a hero power, turn 4 is for Vanndar Stormpike, and turn 5 is for Drek'Thar. Hopefully you still have enough life to power through and actually play the game from there. Forge of Souls is another good card to have in the opening hand as it will allow for some trading with your Blacksmithing Hammer for either digging for the Fires or for pulling more created minions out. Man the Cannons and Minefield are your other two keeps in the mulligan, just to help survive a little bit longer to get your draws.

*Update 1* - 23 games to get 100 minions played. It seems playing a deck like this long enough drops your MMR to where you get pitted against other players with less optimal decks. I still see an occasional pirate warrior, but they aren't the top tier versions and often are slow enough to let you get a little bit of progress.

*Update 2* - So it only took me 46 games to get the full achievement, quite a bit under my initial calculation. Games did get slower as my MMR dropped, but I also learned how to better mulligan and make use of my weapons. I found more success not trying to trade them early before playing the fires. Trading them afterwards got me more choices in the discounted minions to play.

Good luck and draw well.
