Game Plan

The goal is to win the early board using mana cheating and removal. Then buff that board to make it too difficult to remove and go face to win the game.

I haven't played a ton, but I did get the 5 wins for my weekly quest easily.

Updated for January 2024: Mechwarper and Scargil are banned now.

Mulligan

Keeps:

• turn 1 plays: Cogmaster and Wailing Vapor
• mana cheats: Clownfish and optionally Thing from Below
• removal: Hungry Crab, Golakka Crawler; probably not Golakka Glutton unless you already found mana cheats

Replacements

None of the legendaries are essential. Rotgill is probably the most useful among them, as it can make a board very sticky, but the cost can make it a win-more card.

If you don't have Splitting Axe, also drop Cagematch Custodian.

Useful additions:

• buffs like Coldlight Seer, Murloc Warleader, Zoobot, Totemic Might, Totemic Surge; in general I think health buffs are more useful than attack buffs
• minions that summon other minions
• second copy of Storm Chaser to draw Everyfin is Awesome more consistently
• second copy of Gorloc Ravager so you're less likely to run out of steam
