Gahz'Rilla OTK

Stall Stall Stall.

You want to stall the game while you assemble your combo. Secrets are a good way to do this, plus your other support spells. I really love Secret Plan as a way to spend your Turn 1 plus being able to choose a secret that helps out whatever match up you're in.

Number one priority in most match ups is getting Master's Call. This draws 3 of your combo pieces. The second Master's Call is a dead card but it's worth it imo to make sure you find one early on. Your other pieces - the ping cards - should be found very often by Turn 9/10. So you never want to keep any of your beasts in the mulligan because Master's Call is guaranteed to draw all of them. I don't run any duplicates of the beasts because it seems unnecessary and I want to avoid awkward Webweaver turns of trying to hit the right beast (if you see a lot of Dirty Rats then this can be changed).

Ideally, we're dropping Webweaver ASAP on 6 if possible. Hunter's survivability is almost zero without the Death Knight up so you want to end the game with your combo as soon as you can.

The combo itself is Webweaver discounting either Rhino or Gahz'Rilla, doesn't matter which. Then you play them together, and use your ping spells (Arcane Shot/Rapid Fire) to damage your Gahz'Rilla enough to score a lethal. So the two beasts are playable on turn 7, but shouldn't be used until you have 9 or 10 mana. For 9 mana you can do 26 damage (24 from Gahz plus 2 from Rhino) and at 10 mana you can do 50 damage. Very often the 26 is plenty, but being able to hit 50 usually seals the deal.

This deck is hard countered by taunts, but usually the opponents don't seem to realize what you're doing, so quite often they won't prioritize taunts. If they make this mistake then you win easily. Rat also destroys this deck, which is one reason to run duplicates, but I prefer not to. Your mileage may vary. Ice Block is also an issue, which is the main reason I run double Flare. In non Secret match ups it just serves as cycle.

Rexxar is there for the extra value and mini board clear. Ideally you want to have already played your Webweaver to make sure you discount the right beast instead of a random Zombeast, but it isn't always possible. The OTK certainly isn't the only way to win, as Rexxar himself is just a powerhouse. He's also your only potential way of healing so keep that in mind. You're just trying to stay alive until you can get your combo off.

This definitely isn't the most competitive deck out there but I've got it around 50% WR right now and it's a blast to play.
