Guide
How to pilot this deck
The more you flail your arms, the better the orchestra plays!
As a tribute to reaching 1.000 wins with a class, I've decided to craft a fully golden Wild deck of my favorite archetype. This guide covers "Louder! Warlock", my choice for Warlock. This wasn't an easy decision, as Warlock has a lot of interesting stuff going on and lots of viable and flavorful archetypes to choose from. After considering Seedlock (not really), Handlock, something Demon centered and Zoolock, I went with this list that I got from my friend Jamba. It combines Fel magic, Shadow magic, Lifesteal, self damage, lots of draw and fatigue synergies to a lethal cocktail of greenish death.
Competitiveness and matchups:
This is not and will never be a meta deck, but it's no meme either. A good player can jam this on ladder without having a completely miserable experience, but you need to carefully manage your Health total.
- Aggro is probably your best matchup. Touch of the Nathrezim, Defile, Drain Soul and Table Flip together with your cheap minions help you survive the early game while you can assemble your combo.
- Control decks are okay if you get your draw engine going. You'll probably need a lot of damage, so use your Tamsin Roame wisely and / or try to multiply your Grave Defilers with Raise Dead
- Enemy Combo decks are usually faster than you are so this is a bad matchup.
Mulligan:
Keep the following cards in order of priority:
How does this win?

... they never saw it coming 😈
Noteable synergies and card combos:
- Tamsin Roame gives you free copies of all Shadow spells that you play while she's online. That helps you shut down Highlander effects via Curse of Agony, stack up fatigue damage quickly with Encroaching Insanity, survive with Touch of the Nathrezim, Defile and Drain Soul and draw with The Soularium
- Void Virtuoso helps you survive your self-damage effects, Felstring Harp even heals you when you play them
- Grave Defiler's main purpose is to multiply your Crescendos, but it's also possible to copy Barrel of Sludge if necessary
- Pop'gar the Putrid reduces the cost of Crescendo to 0 and the cost of the two Barrel of Sludge he adds to your hand to 1. He also gives all your Fel spells Lifesteal so you no longer take fatigue damage when you play Crescendo
- Don't play The Soularium when you don't have Pop'gar the Putrid in hand already or when you're ready to instantly play him. It is possible to win without him, but it's a lot harder
Misc and closing thoughts:
Hero portrait: Zail Starfallen
Card Back: Hellfire Peninsula
... and that's a wrap! Let me know what you think about the deck in the comments! Have you mastered your ochestra? What's your favorite Warlock archetype and why?
