Welcome to my Budget Token Druid Deck

► Intro

In wild druid is mostly known for its jade and combo archtypes, but when it comes to aggro, the class holds the field against the competition. Even more so - thanks to its ability to create powerful and cheap decks the class is the perfect candidate for a ladder option for new players or such with a small collection. Token druid, as the name suggests, loves going wide on the board, buffing the minions with whatever tools it has and overwhelming the opponent before they could react.

There is a reason why Malfurion's emote "Nature will rise against you!" sounds so threatening.

► General Mulligan

- Versus Faster decks - Look for BEEEES!!!, a one- and a 2-drop.
- Versus Slower decks - Look for a one-drop, a two-drop (or two one-drops) and Jeeves.

► Class Specific Strategies

Warrior

Most likely Pirate Warrior. Fight for the board, gain control over it and win from there. It's essential to kill the pirates and Ship's Cannon, that's why BEEEES!!! is so important here.

Hunter

Mech - Fight for the board, kill the mechs all cost, since they can be magnetized or buffed with Metaltooth Leaper. I would advise you to mulligan for only the cheapest of cards. It's crucial to get ahead of the opponent before their mechs become big.

Paladin

Odd - Find a one-drop (Fire Fly or Enchanted Raven), a two-drop (Druid of the Swarm, Haunted Creeper) and Crypt Lord. Fight for the board, gain control over it and win from there.

Rogue

Odd or Pirate Kingsbane. In both cases you should follow the general mulligan strategy. It's crucial to kill Ship's Cannon and Hench-Clan Thug on time, so BEEEES!!! is a must. The other thing I want to warn you about is Dark Iron Skulker in the odd rogue MU. This is their only AoE, so you must play around it at all cost. You can either sacrifice some of your tokens or damage the others, in order to prevent your board being cleared. Other than that "fight for the board, gain control over it and win from there".

Shaman

In most cases it's Even and that deck can easily wreck us with tools like Devolve and Sandstorm Elemental. I would advise you to mulligan for cheap and sticky minions. Don't buff them just yet, unless you are threaten by the opponent's board and you want to make some trades or you want to push for lethal damage.

Plain Murloc or Quest Shaman - follow the general mulligan strategy. Underbelly Angler is very annoying, so BEEEES!!! is a must here. Keep in mind, that those decks also run Devolve, so be careful when you buff your minions. Other than that "fight for the board, gain control over it and win from there".

Druid

Most likely jade. I think this is a bad MU, because the deck runs Spreading Plague and can instantly shut down our aggression. That's why I would like to advise you to be aggressive as much as possible. Mulligan for only the cheapest of cards.

Warlock

Evenlock - go wide and buff your minions, but beware of Defile and Hellfire. Try to consider how much damage you want to inflict to the opponent's face, because you will drastically reduce the cost of their Molten Giants (which will be played alongside a Sunfury Protector) and you will activate their Hooked Reavers. If you need a silence, add Shieldbreaker.

Renolock - since their decks aren't really consistent in the early turns, go wide and buff your minions with Power of the Wild or Mark of the Lotus. Jeeves will be strong here, because we need to find the needed burst before the opponent gets to their strong defensive tools.

Mecha'thun - be as aggressive as possible. Mulligan for only the cheapest of cards.

Mage

Burn/Tempo - Follow the general mulligan strategy (Crypt Lord instead of BEEEES!!!), play around Flame Ward. Go wide, buff your minions and go face. It's also good to know, that their deck runs Ice Block, so try to set the opponent to 1 health and make sure you don't die afterwards to their burn.

Miracle - Follow the general mulligan strategy (Flamewaker is very annoying, so you have to kill him at all cost). Go wide, buff your minions and go face.

Priest

Most likely Big Priest. Be aggressive as much as possible. Mulligan for only the cheapest of cards, go wide, buff your minions and try to win by turn 6. If you have problems with Obsidian Statue, you could add a Shieldbreaker in your deck.
