Return of Mechazod!
Mechazod wants a rematch! This time new allies stand against him. Good luck with this return co-op brawl!
Trivia
- This brawl is a sequel to the first ever co-op Tavern Brawl, Unite Against Mechazod.
How to Play
- Players will get pre-made Druid and Mage decks, respectively.
- The goal is to get Mechazod's Health to zero.
- While you can damage the enemy hero, it is NOT advisable to do so.
- Mechazod will change the side of the board on the beginning each turn.
- If the side of the board Mechazod is moving to is full, he will destroy ALL minions there - don't let that happen to you!
- At the start of each turn, Mechazod will cast one of five abilities (see below).
- While the ability casts are somewhat random most of the time, playing Lorewalker Cho will always be followed by Kill the Lorewalker.

Reading lots of hate regarding this brawl, and I must say that this one is one of my favorite; really like the cooperation factor to it, and how mandatory it is if you want to succeed. Of course, you also need to be lucky and make it obvious when you try to set up a play, but the challenging aspect is what makes it so satisfying when completed.
Had a blast with multiple different random players and won 4 out of the 5 brawls I played.
I got my most annoyed ever in Hearthstone history thanks to his Brawl. And it was, of course, not because of the Brawl. After a couple of tries I got a game where we were one round away from killing the boss and my oppononent quit. It was the first time I was ready to be that guy that hurls insults after a friend request.
I was always puzzled by the art of Kill the Lorewalker. Can someone explain what this wererabbit has to do with Cho?
According to the HS-wiki page:
Kill the Lorewalker depicts a Wolpertinger, an almost mythical beast visible only to extremely drunken adventurers. It is not known exactly what relation the Wolpertinger bears to the function of this spell.
I'm guessing drunken Pandarian is the logical explanation here, if that helps at all ..!
These comments that span many hours and years are quite hilarious.
This is easily the most difficult brawl to win if you go random... PLAY with a FRIEND!!
Edit: Forgot to mention I still have some friends that were made while winning with them in this gawd-awful brawl.
11 attempts. Boy, this was hard...
5 failed attempts, not worth the pack, not bothering.
Maybe I just got lucky, but I did this on my first try
May this brawl never return!
It did!...
UGH
Damn it took forever. 7+ tries... if you want to do it faster better do it with a friend and coordinate... it is way too hard with randos...
Tried 4 times. Did not win. My opponent was playing well, but we did not manage. When boss goes face too often (and it does), you don't stand a chance. This might be first brawl ever that I will not complete. Shame.
Have tried is a few times and am literally unable to produce 100 damage before he's dealt 60. They have been impossible to win.
Anyone have any strategies for this?
I’ve tried 5 times and lost each. The thing that most of my co-players also haven’t realized is that there’s value in leaving most of the minions on the board rather than trying to chip away like 2 damage. His “targets up to 3 enemies ability” just goes face that much more often if he’s playing against an empty board.
Beyond holding Loremaster Cho and Millhouse for a big late turn when ideally the Mage has Pyroblast, having the Mage play Brann with other bigger minions around also helps you milk the most out of the effect, including from Tournament Vendors.
The Druid player needs to save Cho and Millhouse for a big turn later in the game when the Mage has a lot of big damage spells. And then using the Moonkin with +2 spell damage to both players to increase the damage dealt.
I never really had problems with Mechazod brawls before, but this one is a bit tougher. I think they previously had a lot of healing in the decks but with no Priest in this one that isn't the case. So try to exploit the Mage damage spells as noted above, despite the fact that you can't talk to your co-op partner.
