Nefarian Rises!
Join forces with a friend to take down Nefarian. Again. Anduin teams up with newcomer Morgl in this new cooperative Tavern Brawl!
Trivia
- This Tavern Brawl was originally demoed at Gamescom 2016.
- There are special cards in your decks that reference raiding! You've got your Main Tank, Raid Healer
How it Works
- Nefarian will enrage twice during the encounter, casting special abilities each time.
- At 160 Health he gains 5 Attack and will cast a board clear via Elemental Destruction.
- At 60 Health he gains another 5 Attack and heals for 30. A board clear is also cast that deals 30 damage to all minions. Oh, and he upgrades his cards.
- If you fill your side of the board and Nefarian can't switch to it, your board will be destroyed.
- If Nefarian plants an Explosive Rune on your side of the field, your opponent MUST destroy it. It explodes at the start of your turn f or 9 damage.

- Explosive Rune - Summon an 'Explosive Rune'.

I love these brawls. The only thing is that the first one I play is usually the one I become reacquainted with the decks thus not helping to optimize the teams' play. When you get a partner that also reasonably knows the idea behind these, they are soooo much fun even with a misplay or two.
Wow i don't know we can play co-op in Hearthstone.. Wish we have more like this, really like this brawl...!!!
There were a couple other co-op brawls but they all follow a similar pattern. We've battled Mechazod together a few times, and a few New Year's brawls were co-op as well. Again, similar styles between those and this one. Just different bosses and different effects from the bosses, different cards in our decks to combat the boss, etc
