Was hoping to see more support for Libram Paladin and here is the first big one. Easily becomes a 0-mana Sunwalker for Paladin.
They guy pretty much summed up my thoughts in his video. Libram Pally for the won. Play a bunch of 0-cost Libram of Wisdom and get a 0-cost Sunwalker. I'm sure priest will find a way to use it as well, such as with [Hearthstone Card (Blessing of Velen) Not Found] in wild.
Official Lorekeeper and Spinner of Tavern Tales
Paladin: Great for Libram Paladin, and good for Pure/Paladin Paladin. Good stats, can be discounted a lot, and good stats, even if you discount it 1-2 times. Will see a lot of play. Also this is just Sunwalker that can be discounted. Pretty good.
Priest: So i don't know what priest deck will use this. Ress priest might, but they prefer toxic cards like Convincing Infiltrator. Maybe this will see play in Galakrond Priest instead? (At least they will generate these, so they don't have to run it.) Seems like a good card, but it feels outclassed i.m.o.
RNG is only fun as long as there is a 50/50 chance of getting something really good or trash level of bad. If RNG always results in something good, then it's not fun.
Amazing in Libram Paladin and might help support a tempo-style Priest deck. Even just getting one or two discounts off of something like Renew makes this card really good. If nothing else, you'll like seeing it off of Galakrond generators.
A little tricky to play in either class right now. If a deck can build around this successfully, this could be a great anti-aggro tool if can come down on turn 4 or 5, but slower decks where this will cost zero by the end game want cards with greater value or that can threaten lethal, and this does neither very well.
This post is discussing the wild format.
More of a paladdin card but still good for both classes.
Don't know if I'll play it on priest thought since I prefer more control decks where spells go to the oponnent.
definite staple for Libram Paladin, and at least a nice addition to buff priest (which currently doesn't exist)
I tried having fun once.
It was awful.
Clearly crazy powerful in Paladin, but probably quite solid in Priest as well for any midrange deck
As others have mentioned, Libram paladin will have no problem getting this down to 0-2 mana. I don't know about Priest though. They have been pushing a board-based priest deck that utilizes buffs for a while, and as far as I know it hasn't really caught on. I give this card 4 stars. Wonderful for Libram paladin, but probably not going to be used in Priest.
Carrion, my wayward grub.
Sunwalker cries in the corner.
Priest does have some buff cards, although I definitely think this is more of a Paladin card since they've always been about this sort of thing. Librams in particular are one easy way to get this thing's cost down.
Cards that can be reduced to 0 cost (ie. get casted for free) should never be underestimated. Never.

Yess support for libram pally, for priest maybe some will run, if theres any midrange spell deck with all the buff in priest.
In this set Druid and Shaman received the Groundskeeper, which has been compared to a better ChillWind Yeti and Sen'jin Shieldmasta.
This minion has the same stats as Groundskeeper and Taunt, plus Divine Shield, which is about 1 mana for an effect, so this minion is already efficient for cost, making it equivalent for Sunwalker from the get go.
However, because this minion is discounted for every spell placed on a friendly minion, it quickly becomes better than Sunwalker since it can easily become very affordable with the amount of cheap spells allotted in Priest's and Paladin's libraries.
Players have already made connections with Libram Paladin with this card, Paladin's most popular deck in constructed with spells that are easily discounted that are returned to hand with a deathrattle. Other players have also seen synergy with Sethekk Vileweaver since they both want the player to play spells on minions, and you're more likely to play the good stuff on yours than your opponents.
I believe both classes will find use for this minion in constructed, and both classes will have support for him in constructed and wild
I think some people are overlooking this lowers in cost anytime you target a friendly character. So this will also get lowered for Priest with stuff like Renew on your hero.
The Last Kaleidosaur quest requirement for 0 cost card, but it doesn't take a space in hand or makes a card that can be just removed.. yeah basically that but it doesn't suck as much, also you run 2 of him.
at base cost he is SunwalkerIt's not a that is comsidered playable in standard I will try to calculate/speculate how much a Sunwalker needs to cost to see play:
Second-Rate Bruiser didn't see a lot of play even in a Patches the Pirate meta, it was almost playable and it was quite close I assume if he always costed 3 he would always see play.. and he didn't come with divine shield..
the vanilla test (4/5 + effect) says it should cost 4 to see any play, so at 3 cost it's not a "Fair" card anymore so I assume that once you've casted 3 spells on friendly minions this is just great.
out of the vaccum.. a buff priest is pushed and libram paladin is tier 2/1 currently so it fits there, will need to see if there are more buffs being printed.
Great card in Libram paladin, and already worth it with 1 discount
Decent enough, could take a spot in libram decks. Not fancy but does its job.
Probably see play in pure libram paladin and little else. Nonpure list might find better use of that slot than a 4/5 taunt that maybe 0-2 mana at around turns 7. The main problem is if you get to play 6 buffs in libram paladin most of the time you either win outright or you're going to go a long game, both not using this card to its fullest potential.
Even in a pure Libram deck I don’t see this being all too great really. Usually cards like this support big swarm turns the best for an aggressive deck, which librams aren’t nearly consistent enough to be able to do early on enough for it to matter much
Who needs consistency when you could have fun?
This dunks on Sunwalker way harder than any card has dunked on Silverback Patriarch. I can see this being very good in both classes.
"Be excellent to each other." -Bill and Ted
Yay, libram pally gets more support.
Still, I wish they gave more draw cards.
This is a fantastic card for Paladin with the Libram package. Playing even just one of Hand of A'dal and Libram of Wisdom in the early turns already makes this worth it.
I've always felt the Libram package in AoO was already a promising set that was just overshadowed and overwhelmed by the DH class. Here's to hoping they'll get more support this expansion, especially since I recently unpacked Lady Liadrin :P
The card seems powerful but needs strong card draw to make use of its swingy-ness. Something Paladin and Priest don't seem to excel at.
Wow, i think that is easily a 5 Star Card.
Very strong card, because this card will never be played for 6 Mana i guess. Most of the time this will cost around 2 or 3 if not even 0 Mana sometimes. Will see more play in Paladin than in Priest but could still work there. But in Paladin this is gonna be a Beast!
Challenge me ... when you're ready to duel a god!
Libram paladin could actually be OP this time... If paladin gets some card draw. But not so good in priest.
As everyone else has said, Devout Pupil looks like a great inclusion in Libram Paladin. So I'd like to focus on this card's applications in Priest.
I see this going mainly into one deck in Priest: Cube Priest. That deck would love a low mana Devout Pupil to use Grave Rune and Psyche Split on. Along with these buff cards, Renew and Apotheosis work towards the discount as well. Also, Sethekk Veilweaver and Renew can help generate friendly targeting spells. For Cube Priest, I don't think that the deck would need to alter its card inclusions too much to make this work really well, not to mention they are getting a new buff card in Gift of Luminance that works well with the deck and adds to the discount.
In a more straight up Tempo Priest, Devout Pupil could work, but the main issue with the archetype is that there is no efficient way besides Sethekk Veilweaver to reload on resources in the midgame after you've spent your entire hand on cheap tempo in the early game.
For glory, honor, and gold!
Cannot wait to try Libram Paladin v. 2.0
Struggle with Heroic Galakrond's Awakening? I got your back :
Probably this is just average. To be ok must be played for 4 or less mana on curve. Libram Paladin can do it, but I don't know if it will be consistent to do it 80% of the time
Awesome useful card
I really wanna try this one on my old ungoro deck
Lemushki - The one and only since the 2006 rebranding.
Anything that can reduce to 0 mana is broken in my book........I mean Libram
Another card for my newest attempt at aggro Priest.
Libram Paladin will became viable with this card.
Huge fan of this card. Libram Paladin has already been putting work in standard and this is a great card for the deck. I mentioned it in the past but this is basically just Thing from Below for a class that historically can't do massive tempo swings,. As for priest, this card still feels fine. [Hearthstone Card (Sethekk Spellweaver) Not Found] is going to help a lot but I still struggle to see this card being below 3 mana. Granted 4 mana 4/5 divine shield taunt is still strong but I'm not sure if you'd want to include a card that has a bit of a setup to make good in Priest.
Cardboard wizard and dog haver.
Seems like each class has been given a straight deck type to play this expansion and im assuming that for paladin it's gonna be buff decks
All hail the banshee queen.
The effect is good and boring.
Both classes Will use It on buff decks for sure.
By The Holy Light!
Absurdly strong card for both classes, and I suspect this is a early candidate for nerfing.
If this doesn't get nerfed, we will see this is almost every Priest and Paladin deck for the foreseeable future in standard.
Pretty easy to get this discounted to be super cheap and easy to play. I reckon both classes will give this a whirl, especially pure paladin.
Can hold so much aggro while you build up a Voltron-like minion. Paladin tried this buff route before, let's see if can be done this time (hope so, but I think not).
Less deck restrictive than Alex for a mana cost reduction. Must include in libram pally. Gotta spam all those Libram of Wisdoms
TREMBLE before.... the most legendary dragon that ever existed!
Straight into my wild deck
-=alfi=-
In a buff deck, yes. This will fit beautifully.
Thanks to denial, I'm immortal.
They are pushing the light fantasy to buffing things, that's not always bad, nor good.
I think priest and paladin can both make use of this card.
A pretty good card, I'm not fond of the design overall though.
Quick! Someone give me something clever to write here.
Resurrect Priest more survivability
Not that strong, even when discounted. It has decent stats, but there are better alternatives for sure.
This is actually really kind of good? I like that it's also a target you'd want to buff.
