Wow, this has a lot of potential for any mage deck with even a moderate amount of secrets. I think about 3 cards is where this really starts cranking out value. And getting two secrets to trigger isn't hard. I think this could replace Aluneth in wild secret mage since it won't draw you fatigue.
Carrion, my wayward grub.
Secret mage needed draw engine in Standard, this seem to be good enough. In wild not sure if it needed, they already have Stargazer Luna and Aluneth...

While I like the artwork on the card, I'm not confident it is very useful. Do mages really lack card draw?
Well in wild Secret mage Runs Aluneth, in Standard this guy replaces that

It's a late game hand refill for a secret tempo Mage. Not too exciting, but hey, drawing cards is always good. I think this will only be worth playing if you can draw 3+ cards with it, otherwise it's pretty lackluster.
Insane draw mechanic for secret mage in Wild. Who knows, this may even make secret mage viable in standard.
"Be excellent to each other." -Bill and Ted
It looks like some kind of ultra fast combo with the secret that give you 3 cards, like some secrets and some damage from board with the 4 mana duplicate minion
I...don't really know where this goes, maybe the best place is a control deck with a few secrets, not a bananas all secret deck.
Ya know, given Priest's seeming to have a fortune telling theme this expansion, I would of thought the literal fortune teller would have gone to them. Ah well, more potential for Madame Lazul to come back I guess. Wish the effect was more interesting than just draw, even if interacting with secret triggers is kind of neat.
It draws cards so its always up for consideration. But I'm a little more skeptical of its actual powerlevel. Seems a little like it costs too much, and the conditions are not necessarily easy to get out more than 3 cards in most cases.
It seems like it requires too much setup for it to be extremely good, although Mage has quite a few good Secrets and also ways to generate them, so it'll definitely see some experimentation at the very least.
Exactly my thoughts. You've likely triggered 4-6 Secrets by the time your hand runs dry (if not, you probably lost anyway due to not getting enough secrets), and this will be excellent refill without having to worry about fatigue.
Indeed, it'll be more likely a desperate attempt during mid/late game to get the cards you should have had drew already, and not the most consistent draw engine either. Also agree on the experimentation, for which I am looking forward to
Struggle with Heroic Galakrond's Awakening? I got your back :
I'm not a mage player... It's worth to play that? Looks like mage doesn't have draw problems. The card is good, draw cards is a strong mechanic but, Mage needs that?
By The Holy Light!
I'm just grateful this is draw and not discover. Keen to see how this new standard secret mage shapes up
TREMBLE before.... the most legendary dragon that ever existed!
Fairly sure that this is almost okay in secret mage. I would compare this to [Hearthstone Card (Alu'neth) Not Found], which in comparison draws a lot more cards, but doesn't give you a body. If this draws 4-6 cards, I think that it might just be worth running.
This post is discussing the wild format.
I´m torn about this one.. Even I kinda like it, I don´t think mage needs another card draw, like others said before too..

"wild secret mage is a closed list can't be improved by any card"
This complements aluneth so now secret mage won't run out of steam...
In standard we need to see if secret mage makes sense.
Will be very happy if this brings a version of secret mage to standard.
For this looks like a solid value card:
So playing this in a pinch as a vanilla card isn't even too bad.
Playing this in a deck built around secrets, you would prolly draw 3 cards on average.
Incredible card. This will surely see a lot of play. Decent stats for it's cost as well. This is really good.
Standard: Sayge, Seer of Darkmoon will be a must include in secret mage. That deck NEEDS draw, and Sayge, Seer of Darkmoon fixes that problem. I think Sayge, Seer of Darkmoon will also see play in some highlander mage lists, as highlander mage always plays 2-3 secrets at the very least. Also if highlander mage is going to include the Y'Shaarj, the Defiler package, than it's really easy to get a lot of secrets from cards like Ring Toss.
Wild: Secret mage already has Aluneth and Stargazer Luna, but i feel like Sayge, Seer of Darkmoon might replace Aluneth in most lists. This is because Sayge, Seer of Darkmoon will draw more cards IMMEDIATLY instead of over time, AND for players that play both Standard and Wild, it's way better to craft Sayge, Seer of Darkmoon instead of Aluneth. (If they don't have Aluneth already.) Also because Sayge, Seer of Darkmoon is battlecry, it's harder to counter than Aluneth.
RNG is only fun as long as there is a 50/50 chance of getting something really good or trash level of bad. If RNG always results in something good, then it's not fun.
SAGE WILL NEVER EVER REAPCE ALUNETH.
Aluneth draws way way more cards and its continious.
Aluneth is the best draw card ever;,the legendary is good and strong but not as much as aluneth.
THe draw over time is why aluneth is godo casue it keeps giving you fuel constantly whie this is 1off effect, have aluneth stick for even 1turn and youve drawn 6cards of it more then will realsitcly got of this.
Play this adn draws 3 ok good but now have no more draw and run out of fuel and loose, Aluneth is insanly good. its alot better
In wild its not really insane its good but thats it.
ANd ALUNETH IS BETTTER
if triggered 6secrets thats all draw youre gonan get in totla over the match
Aluneth draws 3+6/9/12 is way better draw then this the continous effect is what makes so never un out of steamm ocne you have it at al.
You plan like 3-4 secrets by turn 6 in secret mage in wild due to discounts.. you draw 4-5 cards immediately with a 5/5 body on board, rather than a 0/3 weapon that has no board presence.
this is much faster than Aluneth, can give you yourCloud Princes and ballets to close the game faster than 3 cards a turn..
besides who said you can't run both for consistency.. can make you afford to lower your curve cause you have even more draw.
Well even tough this requires a little bit of setup i think this will see play , and not only in Wild Secret Mage.

The card that I immediately think of is Ancient of Lore. I know you can't compare directly between classes but..... Yeah that nerf looks so much worse now
Ancient of Lore was a staple in the old days when it drew 2 cards. I doubt it would be strong enough these days at 7 mana, but an equivalent at 6 seems promising. Adding to the fact that this can draw more than 2 cards, it means Sayge, Seer of Darkmoon actually has potential to be competitive.
In wild, at the rate secrets are activated, it can draw like 5 cards at turn 6. It can replace Aluneth in the deck, because on is a 6 mana do nothing that turn, the other leaves a 5/5 behind.
Rating cards on coolness factor rather than predicting power because I like screwing up rating averages (and because I suck at predicting real power levels, but we'll ignore that LUL)
Wins per class (2/6/22): DH-197; Druid-996; Hunter-91«60; Mage-1056; Paladin-1126; Priest-746; Rogue-961; Shaman-1095; Warlock-871; Warrior-906
I want to have high hopes for this card. It has the same cost as Aluneth, legs, and has a decent level of draw given Secret Mage's ability to drop a lot of secrets fast.
secret and control mage's are gonna love this card
TOTAL CORRUPTION
TOTAL POWAAAAAAA
Even with just two secrets its already a draw 3 which is decent but if you can proc 5 or 6 he gets nuts and can refill your whole hand in one turn
Self proclaimed good at battlegrounds
Good card, in Secret mage. Might replace Aluneth even.
This is a great top end card that can be easily found with Lorekeeper Polkelt in an aggressive Secret Mage deck. My only issue is that I'm not sure Secret Mage as a deck is consistent enough in tempo for it to be really competitive, but regardless of that Sayge is a centerpiece for that synergy.
For glory, honor, and gold!
Strong draw engine. Could be a little to much of a good thing, but a strong finisher of aggro secret mage.
"Some inspirational quote from some famous person" - Some famous person
Card draw and secret synergy, this almost has to get slotted into secret mage in wild. Potentially a replacement for Aluneth with a bigger immediate payoff and less of a long term downside. I'm sure there will be some good uses in standard as well.
Unfortunately, common sense isn't as common as it should be.
It's a good draw engine for any deck running Secrets. I'm not excited by it, since I prefer the more random side of Mage, but it does its job very well and I wouldn't be surprised to see it in Standard.
Welcome to the site!
This card feels bad. It definitely sees play in Secret Mage, but that won't be a thing in Standard with so many better options.
Doesn't make the cut in regular secret mage, but is better than Aluneth in highlander secret mage since you don't often dump your hand as quickly.
its really good on secret mage but what will be the porpuse tho
All hail the banshee queen.
Well now, how convenient it is how cheap Wild Secret Mage is.
Hey, you heard about that Mario guy?
Cool payoff for Secrets. Might be best in a slower Mage deck that doesn't mind the poor Tempo of playing a 5/5 on 6 to draw some cards. If there was more burn in Standard he might work as a top-end for a faster Tempo Secrets deck using him to dig for finishers.
I don't want to cure cancer; I want to turn people into dinosaurs.
Seems very strong, as long as you don't let it become TOO strong like Kripp did on stream
