Yeah! I didn't notice it at first, but Warhorse Trainer is getting a slight buff to 3 attack too! Yikes! And with Equality at 3 mana now? Odd Paladin in Wild now has a HUGE tool to help remove big taunt boys and swing the rest of their damage face! It's going to be very interesting to see how things shape up in both formats.
So far I've only really took a deep dive on Druid, and it's very clear by the lack of damage spells and removal (bye bye Swipe, Starfall, [Hearthstone Card (Wraith) Not Found], and even Moonfire!) that Standard for Druids is going to be a lot of board-centric strategies. So it'll be interesting to see what they get in the new sets. Perhaps they will get some new powerful damage spells in packs since they were completely removed from their Core. I'd expect at least a few, maybe in the first expansion so they are set for a while, and then maybe board building/buffing strategies to follow.
Don't quote me, but their logic might be they wanted to limit the new cards available to DH (Because going into new year they have the most cards out of any class, but don't quote me?)
Oh shit! I quoted you. Oops! :)
I wouldn't be surprised though if they made an announcement that some of the cards released in last year's expansions for DH would be going to Wild early. In that case, THOSE cards would likely warrant a dust refund, unlike rotating Basic and Classic. At least that is my opinion! But it'll be interesting to see what happens.
could be a cool thing too! I would appreciate this as well, seeing as they have like what, 15 more cards than any other class?
Maybe more like 11 more after 4 Ashes cards went into Core, but yeah... a little more than other classes.
I dont get why coudlnt unerf Noruish. Cenarius is better but still so so weak, his summons should summon like 4 treants.
War axe is still useles.
Ethereal conjurer buff is a joke n 5mana 6/4 to discover a spell LOL should be 6/5...
Equality shouldve been 2 not 3.
Warhorse trainer dint need the buff.
Shadowform is still sueless without direct shadowform support.
Rocbkiter shoulmdve been 1mana. Lava burst shouldve had it overoad reduced.,same for doomhammer.
Unbound and Mana tide Get no buffs despite being garbage. Alakir needs more then a 1hp buff.
War Cache is utterly and compeltly useless card.
Board and murloc got rush now.
Cairne shouldve had a bigger buff like keyword ontop.
ANd clockworck giant why did they pick that? Just why im wondering....
Overla good, btu impo are some evry weird:questionable decissions still (like no Nourish unnerf)
Also the new alex should be worded differnetlly. Restore 8 heath to a friendly character OR deal 8 damage to enemy character.
Oh and jaraxus should be 8mana so can Hero power on TURN 10 instead of still 0impact when played AT ALL.
I don't mean to nit pick, but could you please put in some effort to avoid having so many typos? One or two is fine, but having the letters jumbled in every other word is just too much. I don't expect everyone to have perfect grammar, spelling, and punctuation, but this many typos makes it difficult to decipher what you're saying.
Is lava burst returning? I thought I didn't see it?
It isnt its my bad, still shoudl have been buffed IMO though.
Jaraxxus get 5 armor. LOL. All that remains is his hero power.
The Battlecry gives you the weapon. Nearly the same card. It's a buff all around unless you were under 10HP. It's much more playable.
Nice rework for Nozdormu, 7 mana 8/8 does nothing KEKW.
I wonder how many legendary cards each class get?
1 legendary
Sap is removed. Yey?
Polymorph removed too.
Only Hex left.
They all have 1.
Well, goodbye Archmage Antonidas I guess. T_T
Question : what happens in 2022 to those cards?
They did say the core set is replaced each year. So, people who didn't already have for example menagerie warden will lose it in 2022. But wild players who already had her, will obviously keep her.
==> What about these new cards ? Obtainable through packs, only craftable, utterly vanished?
Thanks to anyone who can enlighten me
Most of the cards are going to stay. They'll change stuff every year but it won't be as crazy as this year.
The cards that are only in the core set cannot be obtained in packs or crafted - but you can craft golden copies. If any of these cards rotate, they'll likely get dumped into the Classic set.
Just looked at the Neutral Cards. Things that jump out at me:
1) Stonetusk Boar and Bluegill Warrior are now Rush minions, each with +1 attack.
2) Nerubian Egg?"?!?! Noooooooooooo. Explosive Sheep?! Yeeeeeees! River Crocolisk????? Huh.
3) 4-mana BGH. I like this.
