Explosive Sheep being back in the core set somehow makes me inexplicably feel warm and fuzzy inside!
Don't you mean warm and fuzzy on the outside, but mechanical and unstable on the inside? That's how I feel...
No Polymorph... Wow. Now only class with silence + disruption option in a single card is Shaman... Whyyy? 😭, everything else seems kinda ok tbh, but as a mage main, that hurts a bit.
maybe they'll add a mass polymorph spell later this year?
To be fair Devolving Missiles is still around.
I honestly didn't remember that one, and if you come to think about it then it makes sense... Either that or some other form of Polymorph might come in and they're trying to give it space for later on.
However I do find devolving misiles a worst option, not to mention the randomness involved, sometimes it even backfires.

Anyone else think they should make Gorehowl and Doomhammer legendary? They're giving this full set to all players, so it doesn't make them harder to get. They're unique weapons and should only exist once per deck.
NO, that would you unabel to run 2 and theyre 100% not worht being legendary/being limtied to 1 offs.
ANd if want versions of them di rather they put current ones in wild and Create New versopns(like did for the dragon aspects)
It would make sense lore-wise, but they're not really good enough to be one-ofs. Gorehowl maybe, just because Control Warrior can afford to run single cards, and like to be prepared for every eventuality. But Doomhammer will probably only really be useful for Aggro/Combo decks with Stormstrike and Rockbiter Weapon and I don't think those deck would survive if they had to rely on drawing a single card.
Absolutely thrilled with this core set. So many good cards coming back. Can't wait!!
Those cards give a hint for archetypes to return ! Hero power mage, treant druid, silence priest, discardlock etc. Cool to know and make prognostics for the upcoming year !
Just pointing out the lack of mechs and murlocs in this year's core set.. Could that mean that we will be getting a bunch in expansions?
I've always liked Elementals and Elemental shaman was one of my fav archetypes with Menacing Nimbus one of my fav cards in it, so that makes me hopeful for some more elemental tools.
I'm super hyped about this! This looks like a great base for a new era of HS!
I'm quite surprised at the number of buffed cards in this core set. Most are actually playable now, just look at Warsong Commander
i dont see warsong as playable still has really terirble satts for 3cost, shaw was a legednayr but still had mostly betetr version fo effect since could play it after other minions. and for 1more mana had DOUBLE the stats of warsong.
And broom is a thing.
Its not 100% always uttelry worthless card anymore but i wouldnt really call it playable, certainly not with broom as it is around.

Second Shadow form does nothing?
Senior Game Designer Alec Dawson has confirmed via Twitter that playing a second Shadowform will refresh your HP usage that turn, but will not upgrade it to the 3-damage version.
The official page has it linked to a keyword with it still being the one that summons a 6/6 demon
