Alec Dawson has shared more insight into the world of card unnerfs in another series of tweets. With today's update on the Neutral cards that are being reverted to their previous glory, we've got a full look at what fun is going to be available in wild.
- Nerf reverts are taking place in Patch 20.0 which is live later this month.
- The reverts will come shortly before the expansion launches. Huge meta swing!
- Some cards were not fully reverted but were instead "soft" reverted. This is because these cards may come back to Standard in the future.
- Cards like Level Up!, which would only add strength to archetypes already doing well are not being unnerfed.
Looking for the list of class nerf reverts? Here they all are!
Read on for all the newly announced changes. If you're looking for the new core set that is coming this year, head on over to our Core Set 2021 guide. If you are interested in the new expansion, you can find the currently revealed cards in our Forged in the Barrens guide.

They need to change card text then. Or there will be special 1/1 Leper Gnome. By the way Undertaker reads "summon", so Toxic Reinforcements will buff him too.
Also a buff to Mekgineer Thermaplugg lol
A much needed revert for such an overpriced legendary.
Undertaker Hunter with Unleash and Buzzard. Well, we'll find out I guess.
Wild will be even more aggressive, as if it's currently not aggressive enough...
Yeah, it's tough to get excited about building a deck for wild when 9 times out of 10 your opponent is just trying to close out the game by turn 6 (or at least that's how it feels when I dip into Wild).
they are bent on giving hunter some viability. i mean face hunter with undertaker and buzzard is surely gonna amount to something in wild
I out loud said "oh shit" when I saw both of those
Of all the reverts i mostly disagree with Warrior Mercenary (no need for the buff), shaman Elementalist (bad design idea) Rogue Galakrond and DQA (good nerf idea). Charge is scary but fun, Undertaker is scary, but legendary, and all the others should be decently balanced in wild whilst providing a taste of their formeg glory.
I like all of them except arcane golem and albatross.
Thats 100% msitake imo.
Its better then leeroy jenkins and can have 2.
2less dmg but 2mana cheaper and way eaiser to combo with any extra burst, like nitroboost is 4mana for 8dmg vs leeroys 5mana for 6.
If any is gonna get reverted again its arcane golem.
Also elysiana is not gonna be used at all anymore, only odd warrior used her
Also NO TO ALBATROSS.
Thats a msitake aswell 100% Imo, its way to much of anti evrything as 4/3 for 3 that gives 2dread draws to opnennt AND Counters RenO;
And im generly against nerfs in wild, btu fi are worried about reno decks id a 100times rather they nerf zeph/reno then bring albatross.
Also wonder what happned to: not buffing alreayd strong decks, yet are MASSIVLY buffing odd rogue(one of best dekcs atm) and any odd deck with golem and albatross.
That's why I feel Albatross should be a 3/3 at least (maybe even 3/2), so there's at least some tribute to make for the effect.
Anyways, I like it much more at 3 mana, in before they almost always play their Kazakus/Raza before I can drop and kill Albatross as a control deck.
as 3/3 id eb fine with it. Just shoudlnt be a 4/3 ontop of the effect, not as neutrall certainly
There is a very big difference between Arcane Golem and Leeroy Jenkins - while the former is cheaper, you don't play it as a finisher.
Therefore, giving your opponent a mana crystal is quite a big downside if you want to race him down. On the other hand, when Leeroy hits the board it's because you want to kill your opponent, so the 1/1s Whelps are not relevant.
Not saying reverted Arcane Golem is trash and won't see play, but rather that saying it's a better Leeroy is wrong.
Just because it wasn't played in the past as a finisher, that doesn't mean there isn't something extremely degenerate NOW that makes it a way better finisher.
And in the past it was actully played asfinisher aswell as a combo tool(mainly warlock with PO +faceless)
ITs better because its cheaper and way easier to combo for more dmg and can have 2 its more consistent.
It's gonna be experimented in Odd Rogue but not so sure it's so OP. Odd rogue is a tempo deck with a lot of burst and Golem is dangerous to be played on curve obviously, and you don't want many cards to hold in hand waiting for burst time. Leeroy may be enough for that I think.
this is better then leeroy and if cobmo with extra dmg like nitrobosot ,playing it earlier is not issue
It's better than Leeroy just as Nitroboost Poison wouldn't have made the cut in Odd Rogue because Vilespine Slayer was too good (your words).
Again, I'm not saying it won't see play, but just that you can't possibly compare it to Leeroy, bacause:
I mean, if you really want to run Charge damage you have Wolfrider, which has the same cost and -1/-1, but you don't ramp your own opponent while playing an aggro deck.
