I don't even... I mean...yeah, sure. Mech Hunter is going to be toootally broken when playing the Paladin Quest.
sigh
If you meant to say Mech Paladin, then yeah, it's a copy of a minion on board, which means it copies all the keywords on it.
Oops, yes I meant mech pally. Well spotted.
Edited my post to reflect this
I dont see why it wouldnt (although Blizzard spaghetti code) :)
Well, so much for the 1-health minion synergy being a thing for Paladin. That's both Paladin Legendaries out, neither of them having anything to do with the three 1-health trash synergisers we got previously.
I can't wait for the sound bit on the Murmy...how does one mrggglglgl without internal organs or a tongue?
no habla español very much, but if I understand properly the new HP is "summon a 2/2 copy of a friendly minion"?
...and judging by the token card, the copy has reborn?
Wow, that's very good.
Edit: ah got it, it's an unrelated murloc mummy card.
OK, duplication still good!
(and reborn would have been OP!)
This is so out of flavor for paladin, a "good character" being a necromancer? Paladins and necromancy?
Please see your paladi Arthas Mass Resurrecting armies in Warcraft 3.
Also, copying minions is supposed to be a Priest strength, following the sheet they provided us when they banished Mind Blast to HoF. Apparently they already changed their mind about it, huh?
I mean they also went back on what plagues were within a week so don't think too much into it
The new HP needs a friendly minion to be in play, but it's a lot better than the basic one.
If you target deathrattle minions (Mechanical Whelp, Mechano-Egg, Cairne Bloodhoof,...) or the new Reborn ones, you can easily make really sticky threats.
This quest doesn't justify all the previously released 1-health minions though.
I'm gonna bet on either a spell that gives your minions reborn or a minion with text "whenever you play a 1-health minion give it reborn" for paladin
murlock mecharoo
Why isn't this the Priest quest ?
I wonder if they'll turn Redemption into "When your minion will die from an attack, give it reborn before it dies". It's the same mechanic but the wording would be a little bit of a stretch IMO.
They won't. It's just like Unstable Evolution and Echo. Same mechanic, would have really shortened up the card text, and they chose not to update it. Then they even released Witch's Brew without using Echo, which was an existing mechanic when Brew came out... Why? No one knows.
Do you want more Obsidian Statues? Because that's how you get more Obsidian Statues.
Paladin actually has a good amount of stuff that would be good with this. It does feel like something they probably tried in Priest, realised everyone would hate, and swapped over to Paladin because they liked the concept enough.
At best, you could spin it as a take on the whole 'recruitment' aspect of Paladins, just with... forced recruitment via mummification? It's the biggest stretch I've ever made, but I'm trying here.
Yeah, I was thinking the same thing, since when the Paladin class identity has been copying your own minions? If I remember correctly, it was listed as a Priest strength at the time. Welp
That line of reasoning is mostly directed towards the basic and classic set, they never said they would never give classes other tools beside the ones listed, they only said that they don't want them to be part of the core set...
Agreed, it does not go very well with Paladin class identity, does it?
