Pocket galaxy says hello
Random targets limits its usefulness. Still, as long as you build your deck right this has a lot of potential. Although, if you draw this too late in the game it's next to useless, which is unfortunate.
"Discover a copy of a random Arcane Missiles type effect and cast it on a random enemy opponent's face."
Seems legit.
Nice to get a body out of this, and it's a better one than the last turtle.
Situations I can see it:
1. I'm desperate for AOE spell.
2. This is the only big minion so far (maybe one or two others slipped by) and I could use my discount from Pocket Galaxy.
3. One big minion, one Pyroblast (dice roll).
4. All I got is a Pyroblast buried under what's left of the deck, and we're at lethal here (dice roll).
I didn't know that Peanut Butter Gamer is also a Hearthstone-Streamer. Great card, tho

It's like an improved version of spiteful summoner because of the discovers effect. The only negative is it is a bit expensive to use.

This is basically shadow visions on a stick that autocasts, i see little possibility that this doesn't see play in at least one mage deck
Basically the same card but with a different name. Like Holy Smite and Arcane Shot.
What? Holy Smite and Arcane Shot literally have the same text. This is nothing like that. It contains the same text as Shadow Visions, sure, but it has a lot of extremely significant differences. 1) it's a minion. 2) it's 8 mana, and 3) it casts the spell. This is a completely different card with a completely different use case.

I just don't understand, why people say something like "it's basically that card, but it's a spell not a minion, mana cost is twice as high and effect is completely different".
Will you get that copy into your hand as it cast the spell or it will just cast? Since Discover, by effect definition, should add a copy of that spell to your hand as it casts the card's effect.
Edit: What's with the downvotes? I'm genuinely asking a question here. What gives?
There are two rules of thumb with Discover. One of them is that the card Discovered is added to your hand, unless it states that it goes somewhere else. I.E, Servant of Kalimos just says "Discover an Elemental", so it adds the Elemental to your hand, whilst Eternal Servitude says "Summon it" at the end, so it does not. It just goes to the field right away.
Thank you for clarifying. I just wanted clarification on how Discover works in this instance cos in-game it says add it to hand. It's kinda sad that I get downvotes just for asking for clarification. Regardless, thank you.
