We've got three new bundles live in the Hearthstone shop today - Tavern Special & Bob's Bargain (Year of the Phoenix & Wild Editions).
As we previously reported, these bundles use the "custom" logic from Blizzard to "target" which one they think you'll buy so there are different options for each of them at different contents and price points. Originally we reported there were 3 different tiers for each of these bundles --at 10, 20, and 30 packs - but now we know that they are even more complicated than that!
As it turns out, the bundles that are now available can have weird numbers of packs or have even over 30! Our own FrostyFeet received a Bob's Bargain bundle that contained 24 Wild Packs and drummerdummbatz on Reddit has reported a bundle that contained 40 wild packs. Since we will not go through and find all the different combinations, we can at least tell you what you can expect out of the various bundles.

Bob's Bargain - Year of the Phoenix
- Legendary card(s) from Year of the Phoenix.
- Year of the Phoenix Packs.
Bob's Bargain - Wild
- Legendary card(s) from any set.
- The newly introduced Wild Packs.

FWIW, here’s what they offered me:
Tavern:
2 FB legendary + 35 FB packs for $30
Bob:
2 Wild legendary + 40 Wild packs for $30
I got the $19.99 Bob's Bargain, which I guess because I have all Standard cards except for Deck of Lunacy (that I disenchanted) so the Phoenix packs were chosen due to them having a chance to get that one card.
The second was a $29.99 bundle of Wild packs! Most of my collection's gaps are in GvG, TGT, and then smaller gaps in other wild sets.
First, I feel like getting the bigger Wild bundle is a sign that I spend too much on this game! Second, at least the algorithm is better than last time! The previous deal like this I got offered only Standard bundles when again, I had all the cards I could have gotten from the packs in them. I would have bought the Wild bundle last time but it wasn't offered.
This time though I'm honestly thinking of not buying anything from the deals. With the no duplicates rule plus the updated rewards track, I'm able to get everything with just a single Pre-order bundle and a large chunk of the gold I save up during an expansion. So I could buy the bundle and go nuts with Wild cards. I'd get at least 3 legendaries - the two in the bundle plus one more minimum from my Wild packs pity timer (yes, I'm pretty much certain they follow the same rules as regular packs! I opened Wild and Standard packs across two accounts and all gave me a legendary within 7 or less packs). But because I am able to get the new sets completed, that leaves gold and dust each expansion to go towards Wild cards I might need/want. So in essence those are now a bad use of my actual dollars.
Well I mentioned this topic to my wife and because she needed to get me a Father's Day gift still, it became the 40 Wild Pack bundle. LOL
2 Free Legendaries: Don Han'Cho and King Mosh, both of which I previously had golden and DE'd to recraft into something useful.
From packs, I got pretty damn lucky! And this is after already opening 10 Wild packs previously to get the Legendary in the first 10 packs:

Not the best group, but Sunsorrow was decent in a wild Libram Paladin not too long ago, which I believe Darkbane was a part of, because you could drop a ton of free Wisdom librams on her for some burst damage and/or board clearing pings.

I own all standard cards and I buy wild packs everytime I have some spare gold... so it seems the offers don`t care about your collection or what you are buying.
tried to buy the wild offer, but I get a message that says that I am not eligible to purchase the wild bundle. Anyone got the same message? didn't know that there's eligibilty to buy certain bundles.

FINALLY they offered me the wild bundle. Last time they did something similar they didn't despite Wild being my most played mode. But even though i would like to get it, it seems to expensive to me.
I see some people got cheaper versions of the offers (19,99 euro instead of 29,99) and honestly i wish i got the cheaper version. If i got the cheaper version (even if that meant less packs) i would have actually thought about getting it, because you still get the 2 legendaries. (Even though Wild Legendaries are pretty bad, considering there are a lot of useless legendaries* in wild. But hey a good amount can still be fun to use in some meme decks!)

This is actually quite interesting. First of all, the different number of packs for the same price is surprising. I mean it was to be expected something like this, but I wouldn't have thought they'd be this blatant about it. Then the algorythm has me figured out pretty well. I do get the bigger pre-order bundle on a regular basis, but I'm a Wild main. Perfect offer for me, now I'll have to decide if and what I'm going to take. I'm missing only 3 Barrens legendarys for diamond Bru'kan... hm.
Last time they did this it offered me a couple different bundle sizes but only the most current expansion pack bundles. Pretty sure I had all the cards in that expansion at the time, and I played Wild more now and back then! This time I got the Phoenix packs in an offer and the bigger Wild bundle, which makes sense as I play lots of Wild and my only missing Standard card is Lunacy, a "Phoenix" card. So they made some changes and improved their algorithm this time around for sure!

Alright, Im fairly certain this is a fairly unanimous feeling around the community, so please blizz,
Please just let us purchase these bundles in whatever shape or form you decide to sell it in.
Apparently in the past players were exchanging url links to buying bundles that were not offered to them to bypass blizz baffling use of algorithms and blizz's response to this was to not offer it from battlenet so they cant do that anymore. I'm not entirely certain if this is true, but if it is it shows that even when players are happily waving money at their faces, they are adamantly denying them. Instead, they are actively pushing them towards buying something they don't need as opposed to what they want.
Also, I still can't buy the packs for some reason because I'm "ineligible". That's 20 bucks that is not going to be in their financial statements. Like really, I thought of all things this was supposed to be the one thing they can't mess up with.
