We've got a new reveal courtesy of a Snapchat Ad found by kbronzov on reddit. This is supposed to be Kranich's reveal but it looks like someone at Blizzard pushed a button too soon and starting running advertisements with the card.
Kranich will be posting a YouTube video with the reveal later this morning, so be sure to check it out when it goes up.

Personally I think this card is not at the height of a legendary, much less for a character of the level of importance of Sir Lothar...
I would have preferred something like:
(or even changing to 10 MANA)
I am LOTHAR.... of the Hill People!!
Uncle Lothar wants YOU
I think this card is pretty good and could be used if control warrior comes back. But what I like more and came to say is that I'm really happy to have all this Lore Important characters finally in the game!
I'm curious why this had to attack randomly instead of just having rush. Maybe they it would be too strong with Playmaker or something?
It would have become Darius Crowley on steroids.
So bad this thas spoiled. He put some effort into the reveal video. I recommend to watch it.
Not that great thankfully. Aside from the rare games where you just snowball because your opponent drew 0 removal
This weirdly feels like an old-Hearthstone card. Like it should be in The Grand Tournament or something. It has that air of "Classic WoW character, very slow effect. Seems fun, but will do amazing things in one Trolden video and nowhere else."
Its like a rush card, but a bit worse? I have no idea what you would do with this card. It could probably be good in a Big Warrior decklist if it gets more support. Just like Kurtrus Ashfallen, it just doesn’t do enough to see conventional play
It's somewhat similar to Troublemaker. Overall, I think Troublemaker is probably more reliable (more stats, two attacks), but you could curve Lothar into Troublemaker.
Hmm, I guess it fits that Blizz would mess up the time they advertise a card showing a character who should have died long before the events of the expansion. Maintaining a consistent timeline never was Team 5's strong suit.
Hearthstone is NOT a Warcraft canon.
You know, Scholomance Academy was also out of time.
I know it's not Warcraft canon, so I wasn't being super serious. But still, maybe dragging in someone 20 years gone is a bit awkward when the year is trying to mirror the early days of WoW at least reasonably closely.
That said, I would have been behind it if they were just keen to represent the characters in the statues outside Stormwind. They chose to use the Rat King instead of Alleria though for hunter, so that doesn't seem to be the case.
Well, if this is the card we're getting, then its only decent. Not too bad a card, but far from broken levels for a 7 drop.
Yes, its likely to be a 10/10 that destroys something from your opponent most of the time. But the fact that you can neither control this and it only attacks at the end of the turn means its even less useful than a conventional rush minion which at very least will attack as you wish the same turn its played.
Best case scenario is that your opponent has only 1 or 2 minions on board so this is legitimately a 10/10 rush minion and then if your opponent cant clear it this can attack both face and another minion to snowball. But more likely it'll just kill something you don't care about and then proceed to get its arse handed to it the following turn.
Actually it will not be 10/10 as it will take damage.
And yes, you cannot remove taunt with it as it does not have rush. But still an interesting card.
Assuming you kill the minion, it basically starts as a 10/10 with rush because you are left the stats you would of had if it were a 10/10 after you kill the minion.
That's fairly obvious. What I meant was that its essentially a 10/10 that destroys a minion (and then take damage) because if there was even a chance that Lothar would run himself to his death no one would play him out.
