  • Cool idea but Warlock has a lot of removal choices. Not sure this makes the cut.

  • Zoo card, but kinda too expensive for zoo. I suppose can also be defensive, but hm

  • Love the artwork on this one!

It’s nice that the damage can go face, or even hit your own face if you’re doing the self-damage quest. But 4 mana is too much for 3 damage. I doubt the voidwalkers are going to be helpful enough to balance this card out where you will want to run it in your deck.

I would play it in arena though.

  • Its a bit expensive to be honest. Dealing 3 damage and getting two annoying taunts is a very decent result for 4 mana, but suffers slightly from getting that elusive deck slot and the fact that 1/3 taunts are fairly easily eaten up by just about anything and hardly does any damage themselves.

Its not unplayable, but definitely meta dependent for inclusion.

  • Interesting; slightly defensive Flanking Strike with the 2 1/3 taunts, though unlike Flanking Shot this can go face. Plus gets more value out of Wicked Whispers. I can also see this being in Control/Questline Warlock just for the double taunts.

  • Its interesting, for sure, but it looks like its trying to hit all the boxes while maybe missing the marks.
Warlock has plenty of removal, and voidwalkers aren't exactly expansive to start with
I'm not sold on this one

  • I think 2/6 worth of stats is already a vanilla 4 drop. Put  the stats on two taunt minions and add in 3 damage that can go  anywhere and this turns into a decently valued card.

  • It's not bad, but it's also...not that great?

I'm not sure what deck would run this? It seems a bit slow as a stalling tool and Control Warlock already has plenty of 3-damage spells.

Maybe there'S so more synergy with Fel Spells, but as of now I don't see the point.

  • Well i only see this working out in Zoo. Decent Removal but could also go Face.

  • Hmm honestly these days you would think an effect like this costs 3 mana instead.

But still it's 2/6 worth of stats AND it deals 3 damage. Probably will see play in control warlock, maybe as a 1 off.

In wild it probably wont see play. The only deck that might experiment with it is renolock. Darkglare wont use it.

  • Good value, better Imp-losion, but Warlock already has two better "Deal 3 damage" cards in the shape of Drain Soul and Soul Shear.

  • Removal with some stall attached to it. A deck that's interested in both might want to run this, but I think there are better options and this will be cut in deck refinements.

  • So it seems fair for the cost. It's a Darkbomb with 2 Voidwalkers which equals 4 mana. It might see play in a new form of zoo, but 4 mana is quite high for zoo

  • This seems to be pretty good all around, but I'm just not sure where you'd use it. It can go face, but if you're also summoning taunts, it seems like you want this for board control.

  • This reminds me of a mini version of Spreading Plague or Zilliax. The removal is kinda lacking, but then you get to block 6 damage and make some trades. I don't know if this will be played much since warlock already has a lot of removal and stall options, but it isn't a bad card.

  • I know of no reason why this awesome control card would not be included in Warlock decks uniformly.  Even with Aggro, it sets you up to potentially knock out a low-mid minion or loosen a couple of your opponent's teeth while protecting your face minions with taunters.

    • I think this is better for control warlock, not sure if there is space though but since the Prime is not being used so much you are not expecting this to affect your resurrection mechanic.

  • This is really expensive, but could see play in Zoo. The fact it can go face while also protecting your board is really good.

  • 2 Voidwalkers would be 2 mana, then deal 3 damage for 2 mana sounds about right. So not a very exciting card, really.

  • Very splashable card, can definitely see Demonic Assault as the 29th and 30th card in virtually any warlock deck. The 6 Health Taunt works for control, the 3 damage is ok reach for more aggressive lists and the 2 minions can synergize with a lot of zoo board buffs.

This is 3 cards into one, and even if all 3 cards are mediocre, the combined effect can be very useful (see Sludge Belcher before he was power creeped to death).

  • This is a better version of implosion.

  • IMPLOSION BUT BETTER!

  • Probably worth it in Standard, not in Wild though because it worsens the Demon pool for Bloodreaver Gul'dan.

  • It seems awkward at first glance, especially the 4 mana, but this does a lot for a lot of warlock decks: survival, burst, removal. Pretty good.

  • Removal with stalling, It will be used

  • Decent anti-aggro tool.

    F*ck aggro.

  • Good aggresive/defensive card imho

  • Doesn't look like much at first glance, but it's removal plus a couple of taunts so it's quite a decent defensive tool, which might work with the new questline

  • A defensive tool for sure, but not one I can totally picture the use for. I think it might be fringe playable depending on the meta - there's definitely a few decks I can imagine where this would be the perfect counter.
