Assuming there is a pirate warrior this is a really good card
You can easily remove early pressure and apply pressure with this

I know, but 5 damage for 1 mana still scares me. Also, this means that other pirate archetype cards are going to show in this expansion, and I'm not happy with it

Sword Eater is probably one of Warrior's best cards, which happens to be a pirate. This can also work with Stonemaul Anchorman and in desperate times, Circus Amalgam. So this isn't exclusive to a pirate-themed deck, it can probably be run in a Warrior deck that just happens to run the good pirate cards. Even still, I don't understand the purpose of this card at all.
This is a 5 star card only for the name!
I mean...good...but...why? Control Pirates? I don't think so. Does Rush Warrior need spell based removal?
Honestly feels more like a flavour card because apparently Rokara is going for piracy in this one.
Is that really rokara? Doesn't seem like it fits her character to be holding up people in broad daylight.
I mean who else would it be? There aren'T two many orc girl with red mohawks running around Stormwind I'd assume
We'll get that confirmed once warrior's quest is revealed. Usually they keep the armor designs for the same characters.
If it is rokara it would be somewhat a disappointment at least from an storytelling angle. I mean, it'll be like tavish putting up a suit and taking up stockbroking.
Tavish the Trader, 5 mana 4/4 with "Battlecry: predict whether the stock prices of Activision Blizzard will increase or decrease after a player wins this game. If you were correct, gain 50 gold. If you were incorrect, lose 50 gold".
So Rokara's a pirate now?
I can't say more than "Meh".
Nearly every warrior already plays a pirate of some kind, so this card is nearly always going to do its job to either removing an early game minion or a midgame minion for 1 mana.
It does suffer from some comparison with cards like Sword and Board primarily, and with Minefield, Coerce and Bladestorm on the other side, that though being more expensive, at least does not come with conditions and reliably does the job if not better.
Probably too weak if Im honest.
I have a feeling this will be a "strong after rotation" card. Unless of course pirate warrior gets pushed now
