Cool, cool, cool! Something tells me this is still not enough to make overload work, but I like the direction they're going in with Shaman. Guess we'll have to wait and see till we can actually play these cards.
Arena > Wild > Standard
OMG!
I use to play an otkish corrupt shaman and that quest fits perfectly.
By The Holy Light!
I kinda like this.
Also looks relatively easy to complete even if you have to Discover some Overload Cards. And after Bru'kan you can finish the opponent with Damage Spells.
Challenge me ... when you're ready to duel a god!
This will be a fun card for sure, and probably pretty powerful too! Permanent effects like this one (and the Warlock one) are just massive in their potential.

This kinda feels like by the time you actually complete it you no longer have any cards to use it with.
I tried having fun once.
It was awful.
The reward can only get better. But for now its likely just not enough relevant cards to take advantage of the reward with.
It also suffers from the fact that Bolner Hammerbeak likely provides the better finisher. But there's no denying that being able to cast your spells twice all the time is game winning.
You need 8 overload cards which is almost a third of your deck. With the aid of some card generation it could be possible, but in general you'd probably be struggling to draw enough spells to utilize the payoff.
This definitely won't be a tier 1 deck, but this is some nice support for overload shaman.
Carrion, my wayward grub.
Shaman gets 2 OTKs in a single expansion??? Ok then

Typical Blizzard... pushing out AMAZING Shaman cards in a set almost wanting it to be OP for a few weeks before dropping the hammer and making the new cards neigh unplayable.
I sincerely hope that they don't screw this over. Regardless if you go to the full completion of the questline, the first reward is amazing as is. The idea that you now have an Unlock card available in standard and a 'Timed' Unlock as well?!?!
I just hope that this isn't going to be hamstrung.
Overload cards are generally cheap cards since part of their cost comes at the next turn.
So this seem one of the easiest quests to complete, also the first reward is incredible for this.
And the final reward is one of the best, with of the best Stats for the minion that you drop, but of course, double spell can mean double damage, healing ,whatever.
Not sure if anyway this will end up being good enough or if it will end up being pretty difficult to complete anyway, but it seems the best quest of all the ones so far.
I think this will be a great quest to run. The tricky part is using the overload from cards that are not burn spells to trigger the quest so that you can use some serious burn to finish off the game.
Unfortunately, common sense isn't as common as it should be.
I can feel it in ma bones... a storm's coming... a Burn Shaman storm.
Hey, you heard about that Mario guy?
Think you meant ShamanStone ^^
Struggle with Heroic Galakrond's Awakening? I got your back :
I can see this being good. Nice strong finisher. Shaman is going to go pew pew!
Casual Dragon Cardgame enthusiast.
This will be fun when you get it off, but I doubt you live long enough for that to happen. That said, Double Tidal Wave or similar cards will get you right back in the game once you're done. Won't be meta this expansion, but going to be interesting to see what spells the design over the next year.
8 overload cards is a lot, and the intermittent rewards aren't very good, but the final reward is crazy. A permanent Electra Stormsurge. Might see some play in a burn deck.
Overdraft will probably be included in almost all decks that run this. The reward is pretty nice too. I'm not sure if it's the most powerful one, but this might be easier to pull off than those more powerful Questlines.
The first part of the quest is nuts. If you start with double lightning bloom in to doomhammer it is GG easy
Permanent Electra Stormsurge?!? Wow that's OP. And it got support with cards like Overdraft. This seems super strong, shaman is getting the absolute NUTS in terms of new cards. These new shaman cards are crazy strong.
But back to Command the Elements. Doubling your spells is just crazy, this gives shaman so much more burst potential, especially in wild. In standard you have cards such as Serpentshrine Portal, Lightning Bolt and Stormstrike that can combo with it very well. But i feel like Command the Elements shaman in STANDARD does need some spell damage stuff in order to burst your opponent down. And card draw but i feel like shaman got plenty of draw these days.
Oh and in wild you got Lava Burst and Crackle. And after casting those you can Overdraft for even more damage.
Honestly in Wild you might not even need Malygos in order to otk. The Spirit of the Frog package should be enough in terms of card draw and it already runs overload cards such as Zap! and Voltaic Burst. Command the Elements seems solid in wild.
RNG is only fun as long as there is a 50/50 chance of getting something really good or trash level of bad. If RNG always results in something good, then it's not fun.
This can be strong in wild.
This is good but the price might be too steep. Have to try it first.
With all the new stuff we got from this expansion related to overload. It has a higher chance of success.
Lemushki - The one and only since the 2006 rebranding.
Amazing combined with Stormcatcher in Duels. Not so good in constructed IMO.
My least favorite quest.
Chumbawumba is the worst band name.
It's going to be a good card.
I don't really see it shine in wild, but maybe in a Totem Overload deck with a lot of board presence. Being able to double Bloodlust seems really really op.
Papa Nurgle wants to share his gifts.
The first reward of unlocking overloaded mana crystals is huge, especially in conjunction with Lightning Bloom. This quest will definitely see a lot of play, but I don't know if a spell heavy shaman can actually be viable. The quest will still get better though after the release of more and more overload cards.
TREMBLE before.... the most legendary dragon that ever existed!
too slow
I am 69 years old and still reach Legend
5 stars just for badass Bru'kan looking, on the barrens he doesn't seem too strong, but if Garrosh adressed directly him for being mentor of orc warrirors it have to be a powerful one. I really love the art and concept....
But just one question emerges, I think they come to rescue Dawngrasp but actually no one of them could do it, Guff lost in the park. Bru'kan is fighting the alliance with his elementals and Tamsin just invoked the freaking Anetheron, that rescue mission was a complete mess lol
Seems like a very decent quest, and easy enough to complete. They payoff is great, too. All quests should be as straightforward and useful as this one!
The reward is awesome, but I just... hate Overload cards. I know it's just a dumb mental block, but for some reason I just always gloss over how they're going to affect my upcoming turns and end up misplaying.
