Arena filler but probably really good there because of the concept of tradeable.
I tried having fun once.
It was awful.
The tradeable makes It playable, but that kind of effects usually doesn't makes the cut.
By The Holy Light!
Arena card just like Frostwolf Warlord. This is a little easier to get off, and has Tradeable if this isn't the turn you want to play it, but isn't going to cut it for Standard.
At best a 3 mana 8/9, which is great, but no taunt or rush, so just ok.
"Be excellent to each other." -Bill and Ted
Cute minion for swarm decks. Nice to have tradeable to swap out if your boar gets wiped. I'll experiment with it for sure.
Casual Dragon Cardgame enthusiast.
If it didn't have tradeable it'll be hot trash rolling down a hill.
nuff said.
Just bad, tradeable cards assume you do want the original card at some point.
Looks pretty good for a zoo deck. Two minions on board and you've got yourself a 3 mana yeti. Maybe just arena bait though.
Unfortunately, common sense isn't as common as it should be.
Token Druid and Token Hunter may have more support that we originally thought
I like that you can get in a situation where you don;t have enough minions for this to matter, so you just cycle it.
and with only 1 minion this is at least a Spider Tank, nice card.
Could see play in Zoo-ish decks but not sure if you realy would wanna play this over other cards. The Tradeable makes it ok but i guess you will still use other stuff over this. Not that great.
Challenge me ... when you're ready to duel a god!
Odd paladin?
Excelent in zoo. Will totally see experimentation,
Lemushki - The one and only since the 2006 rebranding.
If it's not buffing my minons already out there, get lost.
Chumbawumba is the worst band name.
Did everyone else forget when Odd Paladin ran Frostwolf Warlord? This is as good if not better thanks to the cheaper cost alone.
Hey, you heard about that Mario guy?
Might see some experimenting in Odd Paladin because it is also Tradeable.
Zoo decks would love this, but still, 3 mana for a potential 8/9 is not that great in a world where Sea Giant exists.
Papa Nurgle wants to share his gifts.
Since there are plenty of cases where you don't have a board, tradeable makes this fairly good.
i don't think we will see it in any meta
I am 69 years old and still reach Legend
It's nice that this minion is tradeable, but after all, it's just a stat bomb. No more, no less. Won't see any constructed play and it's a mediocre Arena pick at best. Win-more cards like these never do well in Arena.
Arena > Wild > Standard
The tradeable makes it decent, but otherwise it is trash. It is cheap, which makes it better than similar cards like Frostwolf Warlord or Heroic Innkeeper. But it is still too much work for not enough payoff.
Carrion, my wayward grub.
This kinds of effect weren't relevant for a long time already
I am envoy from nowhere in nowhere. Nobody and nothing have sent me. And even though it is impossible I exist. ©Trimutius
Probably a arena card, but i wouldnt be surprised if it pops up in Swamp Hunter decks. The tradeable really helps you when you dont need it.
In wild it probably will see play in ODD Paladin instead of Frostwolf Warlord
RNG is only fun as long as there is a 50/50 chance of getting something really good or trash level of bad. If RNG always results in something good, then it's not fun.
Probably best suites for token/zoo decks and the tradable mechanic should make it see some play. It's a mediocre effect but not bad for arena
TREMBLE before.... the most legendary dragon that ever existed!
I like the confident, yet nuanced statement here '' Will see play experimentation ''
I 100% agree with it too
Struggle with Heroic Galakrond's Awakening? I got your back :
Prpbably not going to be included in any expected top decks, but it isn't too weak for some experimental zoo decks.
Will be useful for token decks, but no for the rest, maybe just tradable pack filler
I think I dropped the ball a bit on this one. I remember comparing this to Darkmoon Statue in my mind, which I thought to be better in Arena than this Traveling Merchant. This is, however, a much better on curve minion than the statue. It's not uncommon to still have your 2-drop around going into turn 3 in Arena. That makes this a perfectly acceptable 3-drop as a 3/4. It's actually really flexible and so much more than just a win-more card.
Arena > Wild > Standard
Good aggro tool, might see play in token Druid decks. The fact you can toss it back if the board is empty gives it an extra layer of depth
Seems interesting in any deck that's looking to swarm. It being tradeable means that it isn't dead in the lategame either when your board has been cleared, unlike similar cards.
