I would agree with you but this kind of thing has precedent in universe. It's not like Star Wars where they pull a literal "lmao magic, idk" to explain it, Liches are an established thing and Tamsin was at the very least foreshadowed to have dabbled in necromancy so there's some amount of setup.
Honestly, I'm just curious about what they're gonna do with her character going forward. If it's shit it's shit and I'll be calling it out as such. As it stands I don't see anything wrong with bringing a character back as undead...especially if that character was already dead to begin with. The resolution of the Cariel-Tamsin story could still work if neither of them new Tamsin wasn't actually going to die.

not really, you need to kill boars, it doesnt work with other minions with the same deathrattle unless you have already acomplished killing 7 boars

So the rift summons a dread imp right? but that aside my perfume being the phyltry theory that I made when BG tamsin popped up is confirmed here finally! Frankly I had my suspicions when I saw it for the first time and my monkey brain misread it as phylctry instead of perfume somehow

I'll just point out that Build a Snowman is just a better Pyros.
Tamsin is just a worse Jaraxxus. Prove me wrong!
I think Jaraxxus is more powerful if you get into the position to play him, but Tamsin is easier to play because of the lower mana cost and the AoE from the battlecry makes it possible to play her when you are behind.
Maybe both could even exist in the same deck?
Interesting that both Warlock legendaries can be played in the same Archetype (Zoo), that's usually something the devs try to avoid.
