This is amazing
Do we know what happens to the minions it "devours"? That is, are they killed (and then resummoned by Gigafin's deathrattle), or are they somehow "stored", and returned as they were?
Specific Qs:
Another question -- if you have multiple Gigafins and one Maw, I assume killing the Maw clears the devoured minions for all Gigafins? Example:
...so... when the Maw is killed, does that clear both Gigafins, or only the original one (the one that created the Maw)?
This might apply to more of the Colossal cards, actually -- are their "extra parts" linked somehow to the original, or do they apply to all copies on the board?
So is MurLOCK going to be a thing? Cuz lemme tell you - I really want it to be a thing
so actually you have to destroy Gigafin before the taunt guy is dead ... very interesting task !
...yes, or silence the Maw. And if you kill both Gigafin and its Maw with a single AOE, presumably Gigafin's "return the minions" deathrattle triggers before the Maw's "destroy the devoured minions" DR. (Deathrattles trigger in the order that the minions were summoned, so Gigafin's goes off first.)
Here's a full image of this super creepy murloc

Dat ass
A colossal Murloc was easy to predict in light of Bloodscent Vilefin, but for some reason I expected it to be neutral. Seeing a whole Murloc theme in Warlock will be interesting.
Super cool concept! That's the kind of fresh and original cards I want to see!
Is this the first collectible card that fully clears an enemy board? Pretty crazy, might also see play in Wild because it's such a swingy effect. Even if the main body is cleared, it's essentially a Frost Nova.
Well, Warlock has tons of cheap spells which can destroy friendly minions - Ritual of Doom, Grimoire of Sacrifice etc. So it's a Twisting Nether with body which destroys only enemy minions.
But the real question is, how does devour work in terms of resurrection and deathrattles? Is it new The Amazing Reno and despair of priests? Maw text says "permanently" so it seems that way.
My guess is, when the minion is "devoured" it counts as killed (deathrattles trigger, it goes in the rez pool), but I'm not sure. Definitely want to see confirmation on that.
I think the Maw's deathrattle is just "change Gigafin's deathrattle from resummon the devoured minions to don't do nuthin'", so killing the Maw (or triggering its DR early) doesn't have any effect on the rez pool, one wy or the other.
I doubt it removes them from the graveyard. The wording permanently is used because otherwise they'd have to write 'destroy the devoured minions', since the term 'remove' itself is confusing seeing that the minions are already 'removed'. But without testing, this is something no one but a dev can confirm.
"Devour"... Does this means it gains the eaten minions stats like Mutanus or Gral, the Shark from Rastakhan's Rumble?
As per the reveal video, no it doesn't add the stats, just removes the minions
This card is the exact murloc payoff I would want for a murlock deck.
Bloodscent Vilefin into this is just crazy to consider, especially if the next meta is more board based.
It does have some drawbacks. This card only has 4 health, so its relatively easy to remove it, and therefore securing the board back for yourself should you lose it from Gigafin. But if you're doing that, then youre not dealing with the 4/7, which is threatening in its own right. And the maw has taunt, so that's an additional layer, and for a 8 cost card, that's a crucial element.
In terms of flavor though, its a bit confusing. Why shouldn't removing the maw give you back the minions instead of the murloc itself? Perhaps its because they didn't want a scenario whereby warlock just removes the second minion themselves and so this card has no drawbacks.
Artwork is nice. Been some time since a card art actually attempts and somewhat succeeds in showing a terrifying monster. And hearthstone being so cartoony as it is, its a somewhat amazing achievement.
Falvour-wise, this seems to be two murlocs held together by some sort of Old God goo. So I'm guessing whatever Gigafin eats, it goes into the Maw. Kill the Maw, and you've killed your friends that it ate. Kill Gigafin, and you break the goo, releasing everyone.
I like how you describe it, I was thinking it's more along the line of Gigafin's Maw is actually Gigafin's ass 😅
