Blizzard and Upperdeck, the company that originally printed the World of Warcraft Trading Card Game, have teamed up to celebrate Blizzard's recent 30th anniversary with a set of "e-Packs".
What Are E-Packs?
- They are digital card packs available for purchase on Upperdeck's website.
- 24 cards per pack
- 3 Variant cards per pack!
- 1 Blizzard Vault card per pack!
- Stunning inserts such as Reimagined Logos cards
- A number of Autograph parallels from the artist behind the designs

Here is what a 24-card e-Pack I opened contained:
Special Promotion

Collectors who acquire a complete 21-card Blizzard 30th Anniversary - Variant set and elect to redeem it will receive the Blizzard 30th Anniversary Achievement Avatar.
Free Blizzard E-Pack Daily
If you create an Upperdeck e-pack account on upperdeckepack.com, you can purchase a free pack seemingly every day in the store. You can choose the Blizzard 30th Anniversary from this.
- The free e-pack only contains 8 cards, instead of the usual 24.
Here's what I received in my free e-pack.
The reverse of the cards tell you the game the character is from, and a description of them. This is Jaina's card from Hearthstone.
Are These Worth Buying?
Eh, if you want to grind out some of them to get physical cards mailed to you for collecting, sure. Otherwise, save your money because they have no use!

Well, that didn't last long... 😂

Damn, i haven't get any pack, i don't get why they remove it anyway...
This is literally the dumbest thing I've seen in 2022. I hope it remains so.
BOOO not even unnerfed Jaina
Time to utilize the secret tools.
CTRL+C, CTRL+V.
Upperdeck and blizzard (disguised as Cryptozoic) already had my money years ago...
If they would more could reborn the tcg, not those "cards"
I miss a physical WoW TCG product. It's been so long, I can't even remember how to play.
I wish the cards weren't so expensive. Otherwise, I could see myself using something like Spell Table to play online with friends. I know there's digital versions on stuff like Tabletop Simulator or OCTGN, but it just ain't the same.
I don't know how this works (i've found it days ago looking for old "Throne of the Tides" cards), but there are some people still playing and creating new sets of cards: WoW TCG Reborn
Yeah, I've come across that too! It just doesn't really interest me unfortunately because it isn't the people who were originally designing the game. Thanks for pointing that out though, maybe someone will take interest.
So, I figured I would get a free pack while I drank some coffee. (I used a unique email address for them so I can track it).
More to the point, I got the exact same 8 cards!!! So we all get the same free cards every day. It is almost like they just hit cut/paste... oh, wait....
LUL!
That's unfortunate. Has anyone else had the same experience? Are the daily packs going to be super rigged then lol.
I also got nearly the exact same thing from the free pack. Same cards, same order, only the last one was different. It was a sketch of Tyrael in mortal form instead of Bolvar. 😅
Interesting. I wonder if that last card is RNG then.
So...you can't play with these, right?
So what are they good for? Family slideshows? Impressing the maidens?
They're good ol' fashioned Trading Cards. No Game. Like the baseball ones from before MtG.
Yeah, except baseball cards were for actual people who exist in real life and make their living by playing baseball.
I really appreciate them doing Orphea and Qhira cards. They could easily just keep pretending Heroes of the Storm doesn't exist, but the little acknowledgements give me hope.
haha what? why? late comers to the nft party?
why not just sell the physical cards smh
Yeah I'd totally buy a booster box if they existed. Would be a neat little thing to have some. The majority of the digital cards cannot be converted into physical ones.
at least with an nft I can bait people into getting angry at me
