This is absolutely incredible. Rogue really doesn't mind missing turn 1 either with all the insane removal they have they can win the early game easily.
We're gonna need a bigger ooze.
The first Uldum card that will be nerfed.
R.I.P. Spectral Cutlass
You counter this by playing rogue.pogchamp..
I'm not sure if it will be any viable, but I will be trying this out with Witch's Cauldron! Some 1/1 lackeys in there and you'll have shaman cards in abundance :P
Not anymore... Newer cards get cards from "another class" not from opponent class
Very powerful but not toxic powerful. I like it.
this is meta-breaking, simple, my god
I feel like the folks detracting this are kinda underestimating how good Immune While Attacking is. Smack your face into a giant, and it's like you've healed for 8 damage.
Meanwhile, Spectral Cutlass isn't perfect. Without Deadly Poison on it, it's only 2 attack--not a lot of removal, and not a lot of healing. You have to draw it, which means you probably need to run Raiding Party (a decent card, but now the Cutlass Package is at least 6 cards). Meanwhile, you're vulnerable to weapon removal with Cutlass (Ancient Blades only takes two mana to reactivate), and there's issues with playing weapons from other classes with Cutlass.
Bazaar Burglary is just going to be super consistent. Starts in your hand, and is just a straight upgrade to your hero power doing what you normally want to do. You can fit a bit more removal, draw, or card-generation to your deck with the slots you gain after cutting the Cutlass package. That probably makes the deck overall more consistent, which is a good thing with a "created by" strategy.
Daaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaang. that is probably on the top 3 for best quests. burgling 4 cards is super easy, and the ability to blast 2 guys for 3 for just 2 mana is incredible. this card will probably bump burgle rogue to tier 2, if not tier 1. this will crush aggro, especially in wild with halucinaition, and that 1/1 pirate guy I still cannot remember the name of.
Swashburglar
Such extremely polarized reviews here, everything from "Will need nerfs" to "Won't see play." Guess we'll have to wait and see. I've always enjoyed playing Burgle Rogue for the memes, so I'll try this out for sure. I love the idea of just stabbing everything on the board with no consequence.
The fact that you only need to add the cards to your hand and not play them is huge. The reward seems solid as well.
Bazaar Burglary seems like a very powerful tool. There is enough good support for burgling that you'll be able to complete this in a timely manner for lots of Rogue decks, and even if the 3/2 weapon isn't a hugely impactful tool in the late game, the immunity does shore up a major weakness (i.e. healing) that Rogue has.
It sort of flies in the face Spectral Cutlass, but unlike the cutlass this can be used outside of a deck that's exclusively a Burgle Rogue archetype.
Mmmmmeh. Fiery War Axe was a powerful weapon because you played it turn 2 and it shut down the opponent's turn 2 and many turn 3 plays, giving you uncontested control of the board. This becoming active somewhere around turn 5-6 at best means all the potential control you could have had with it is gone, you spent your first turn questing, so you lost tempo, and you're on the catch-up, unless you got your Fence/Vendetta off. Once you have the weapon, sure, you got a cheap ping for 3 damage. But you don't have the early control that made Fiery War Axe or Odd Rogue so dominant. They ensured you stick on the board first and don't let go of control until they're dead. It bears no comparison. Plus, it screws up your curve, because ideally, you'd burgle up a card turn 1 so you got your Underbelly Fence active turn 2. So one of your most powerful plays is made worse just by including this. It might be ok in Standard but Wild laughs at this. I'll stick to cutlass and go deal 20+ damage with that while my opponents regret they don't play weapon removal, thank you very much.
Agreed. And it is not an easy quest to enable. How many enablers are you really running, that are decent by themselves? I played around with some numbers and IMO you need about 14 enablers to have any sort of consistency, for example activating quest before turn 8 in 4/5 games (not even that good...). Here is a reddit post where I summed up a little bit. For wild, but it is not that different.

DOES WARRIOR HAVE BACKSTAP - VENDETTA?
Everyone are overreacting cos of how easy to complete the quest. Do keep in mind that the new quests are meant to be completed way, way easier and less mandatory build around than before. The reward is just a 3/2 weapon with immune. It's just a upped version odd rogue hero power. Sure there's combo with poison effects.
I guarantee all of you that this card will see only decent play in the meta cos there's Spectral Cutlass. You can't run both in a single deck. The hero power is good, not op. This is not the Quest Rogue of old.
It is not easy to complete quest. You need almost half deck full of enablers, or a lot of card draw, and then it is still not easy. And you have to play a lot of bad cards. Pass.
