Game Improvements & Bug Fixes
- Fixed several bugs involving weapon removal:
- Acidic Swamp Ooze was sometimes not offered against 1-Durability weapons.
- Harrison Jones was sometimes offered against 1-Durability weapons when he could not be played that turn.
- Weapon removal cards were not offered against 0-Attack weapons.
- Weapon removal cards were not offered when it would prevent your opponent from having lethal on their next turn.
- Fixed several bugs involving certain cards not being offered:
- Fixed several bugs involving Hero Powers:
- Hero Powers were sometimes assumed to be usable, even if they had already been used that turn.
- The current cost for Hero Powers is now considered, instead of assuming a cost of 2.
- Damage and healing modifiers on hero powers are now accounted for.
- Upgraded Hero Powers (such as through Sir Finley of the Sands, or Justicar Trueheart) are now considered.
- If your Hero Power has been replaced, Zephrys will no longer assume your base Hero Power is still usable.
- Fixed a bug where Betrayal was not appropriately counting as a single-target removal option when it would only damage one target.
- Fixed a bug where Alexstrasza was being offered based upon the opponent’s combined Health and Armor, instead of only their Health.
- Fixed a bug where silence cards were not offered to unfreeze your own minions for lethal.
- Among potential lethal options, silence cards will now be favored, in order to help minimize potential interference from Deathrattles or other unique card effects.
- Fixed a bug where Zephrys did not properly consider multiple Deathrattles on the same minion (most commonly from Magnetic minions).
- Improved Zephrys’s evaluation of the value of healing this turn vs next turn.
Comments
I'm so glad that I keep copies of cards until they go into wild. Got so much free dust from just Conjurer's Calling 4 normal copies and 1 golden one!
BTW, just saying, but I was hoping (and expecting) a coverage of GM season 2 week 1 and that's quite disappointing, considering even Hearthpwn now has a post about it.
I watched what I could of it, but I'm sure getting some fun facts about it can't be that hard... Can it?
I'm such a completionist that I usually don't DE anything even if it's pure crap after the nerf. I want as complete a collection as possible. In this case though I did DE my golden Boom to craft a normal one. Free 1600 dust!
I know it has been said before many times, but you should dust it. If you ever want to use it, whether to complete your collection or deck, just craft it again at 0 net cost. If you dust it now, it is possible to get it again in a pack. Also if you dust it now, you can use the dust to create a better deck, to get more wins, to get gold, to get packs, and to come closer to completing your collection. In the end, it's just logical that you should dust it now, unless if you use it in a deck. Same with Barnes if you have him.
got like 8k dust out of this, real nice, gonna craft me some deck, unsure if i'll go towards quest shaman or quest paladin tho
Obviously you should craft whatever deck is going to bring you the most joy now, but if its honestly a coin-flip between those two choices, consider this: Quest Shaman is tied to battlecries and since every expansion introduces new battlecries, its probably going to continue to evolve and improve over the next 1.5 years (although it will take a hit when [Hearthstone Card (Shudderwock) Not Found] rotates). Conversely, Quest Paladin is tied to both reborn minions and strong deathrattles, so its always going to be restricted to running the ~12 reborn minions it does today plus it is relying heavily on Mechano-Egg, Kangor's Endless Army, Da Undatakah, etc for late game value, so there's a good chance that the archetype won't be viable in standard after the rotation.
i disenchanted all cards for Zephrys the Great and Zola the Gorgon
finally i can play a optimal version of renolock
I realy like that they made Zephrys even better now :)
Dusted everything except Dr, Boom .... i have mixed feelings about dusting him ... he could be still viable even tough i do not play warrior that often ... but i guess i will dust him because the Warrior decks i play are mostly aggro ...
You can always dust him today and then change your mind in 2 weeks and recraft him for no loss of dust. Doing the converse will cost you -1200 dust, though.
I did some calculations and it is 100% worth buying the ONiK for Barnes, if you buy the two wings with gold, you get almost double the amount of dust an average pack would net you. If you buy entire adventure for $20 you get almost triple the dust amount tho. So either way, buy it!
Not sure if you wanted to reply to me ... because i never said anything about Barnes ;)
But the idea sounds good even tough i already Disenchanted Barnes a long time ago because i only play standard :)
Yeah, i wanted to respond to someone else, sorry!
Dusted everything. Had 7 Conjurer's Calling 2 regular Extra Arms and 1 golden Extra Arms and all the legendaries. Ended up with almost 7k dust. Not too bad. Even if I craft Barnes and Dr. Boom again which I will probably do I still have enough dust for quite a bit more stuff.
That's what I also think of dusting nerfed stuff. There is nothing wrong with dusting these cards now and if they remain viable or good in the future, you can always craft them back for no dust loss. If not, this dust will be very useful in future expansions.
I applaud the people who came up with the algorithms for Zephrys the Great, amazing how this card works. GJ on the nefs too, i like em, yet control warrior still seems too overpowered atm imo.
A bit iffy on dusting Conjurer’s and Dr Boom, they will probably still be played
It is always best to DE everything right away for the full refund because you can always craft them again later with no net loss.
Good point .
Fair point. I’ll probably experiment with them a bit first though
So glad they are on top of Zephrys the Great fixes!
